I cheated with my berzerkers and sprayed them retibutor armour, then picked out the red

It's definitely a better way to do them. Try Vallejo metal colour gold thru an airbrush. It's actually a very good brass colour.

​@@nitemunky76 I actually used that vallejo gold along with alclad's pale gold for my millennium puzzle box which after flat coating gave the desired ancient look

I bought the World Eaters box. Took me about 6 hours to paint my first berserker but it was lots of fun. Painting an exalted eightbound champion now and its a lot less fun because of his fleshy demon backpack and trying to get that looking right. Was good to see beard Kieran happy during a challenge for a change 😂

Does hobbying together improve your determination or productivity? I hobby alone but love the idea of painting with friends. You make a great team and are a pleasure to watch. Can't wait to see how this ends... smiles or tears?

Not sure on productivity but it really helps mentally that's for sure. Having someone to bounce off on what would otherwise be a solo task is a very nice change of pace. I guess you'll have to check back on Sunday and find out! 👀

Kieran enjoying a challenge - words I never expected to write 😄 Doing Angron in 8h - I guess his mood will change😁 But now I'm looking forward to my boarding action patrols of Thousand Sons and World Eaters... after Christmas I really need to do at least one unit each to define the color schemes and workflows. I can't wait for all that trim after painting Chaos marines and MK3 armor lately😶

I haven't painted Angron, but Magnus took me over 50 hours to paint, so he could've been this 24-hour challenge on his own, and I would have been impressed if you got him to a Tabletop ready level.

Orruk Flesh base coat, 1 part Khorne Red 3 parts water wash, Orruk Flesh on the raised areas, Ogryn camo highlights 🤘🏻
