I agree with the bland or outdated move set complaints. But…we probably don’t get “everyone is here” if they put a whole lot of time in revamping various characters move sets. I don’t think we were going to have our cake and eat it too. Like Maister said, I’m more disappointed they aren’t patching the game (character adjustments) anymore. That would keep the game alive for many more years and good years at that!

It's funny how Lucina has a reputation for when she is probably one of the coolest FE characters I know lol (in Awakening). I wish her move set reflected her personality more.

@@jj6148 sadly the characters that could reflect anything from their games and none of em do Ike,Roy,Chrom,Robin,Corrin and Byleth are the best examples Ike and Roy could have projectiles but neither do, Ike’s would literally be like cloud’s blade beam but a single hit and stronger and Roy’s would be him shooting a fireball from his sword, Robin in the prologue of the game had a unique move in a cutscene and Corrin should have been more focused around transforming into the dragon form and Byleth should have been using only the sword of the creator cuz she had a move that looked like a better forward smash then what she got in smash and Lucina if you wanted her in smash sadly she would be a mix of her father and Marth but you don’t see that at all and as a female character from an FE game I myself personally like her design too it’s her hair that I like about her, just some examples of movesets of the FE cast

It's crazy how 3/4 of the community says they're satisfied if not very satisfied with the roster, but 2/3 of the cast when individually reviewed is more disliked than liked by the same community. Literally could only make sense for a fighting game.

Dark Samus had it’s own moveset as an assist trophy wasted potential as an echo fighter and Chrom and Lucina would be echoes and Daisy shouldn’t have been an echo of peach echo fighters was just a way to get more characters in smash with the least amount of effort possible

If you play super Mario Bros Galaxy you will see all of Bowser's special moves (Bomb, Fire, Fortress, Side B) are from that game, I only realised that when you said he is unfaithful to the original but that only in the side scroller games. They got most of moves from Galaxy 1 and 2, even the Nair in fact is from there, I am slowly remembering more and more as I think about it, I am certain there are more, just forgetting.

I like all the characters. What took me off guard the most was steve. Like, a character like him of all other people compared to Hunter from monster hunter is a huge surprise. A person who literally utilizes their surroundings over an actual hunter with countless prowess with over 14 weapons. I do say there are a few that i could dislike like pythra or others under specific conditions.

Banjo's reputation saddens me. I know the common playstyle is pelting people to death with eggs and grenades and I agree that's annoying as hell. But I play Banjo as an aggressive character that uses projectiles to aid combos and mainly play him as a brawler and I find it an absolute joy to do. It also works incredibly well, since I've got over 12.2 million GSP by playing aggressive Banjo. I just wish more people would try them
