I’m completely new to Insurance. I’ve worked factory for 8 years I’m done. My health has declined and I knew I wanted a change. My best friend works insurance she still can’t get licensed but she got me a spot in her agency. I start Monday and I’m nervous as hell! The agent interviews many candidates even more qualified than me. He said I’m the one. Not sure what he saw in me but he’s been doing this for 42 years. Right off the bat he said exactly what you’re saying Cody. “Prospects and getting in front of people “ I’m a very social person and I posses charisma. I’m a hard worker and very ambitious and unsatisfied I want more. I think he sensed that enthusiasm in me. Thank you for this video and introducing insurance to us. Hearing you were once completely new and still having very ambitious goals your first year really motivates me to go in with my head right. I sold my Farmers BOB and am now a truly independent Medicare, Health & Life insurance agent and I love it! It is way better than being a captive agent for sure and the commissions on life insurance is around 95 to 100 percent rather than the 40 percent Farmers paid me.
