@@mackenzie9865 That's not how recipes work especially for commercial settings. People unequivocally expect uniformity across all products, across all stores, at all times. The moment that formula is deviated from then we as the consumers get in our feelings and go online to write a nasty review about how the product was substandard, and how the person serving didn't fulfil our order. @Superintendent_ChaImers

Thats simple too... A double double doesn't just mean 2 cream 2 sugar. Because 2 cream and 2 sugar in a small 6 oz coffee and the same 2 cream 2 sugar amount in a 16 oz coffee will be drastically off ratio. So a larger coffee needs more sugar to maintain the ratio.

Yes, but even when you customize it is deceiving, they don’t mention that most drinks come with their sugar syrup by default, and for example, their matcha powder already has sugar in it (why? I have no idea, it should just be, well, powdered green tea), so you’d have to be very knowledgeable with the way in which they prepare their drinks to actually be able to customize, and know in advance that you have to avoid certain drinks that would be sugarless if logic applied, like an unsweetened matcha latte, which is impossible to get in starbucks. After a significant break from the excessive sugar in your diet, you will be more sensitive to the overly sweet additives in so many restaurant food. I immigrated to Canada from Europe, and I like my coffee bitter. I order iced coffee from Tim's with no sugar. I suspect there's still sugar in the milk/cream, eh? That's enough for me. I also usually order an XL coffee with 0.5 sugar and 4 milk/cream. There, the cream has a lot of sugar, not to mention calories. But adding sugar is just too much for me, sorry!
