THIS IS THE MOST HONEST VIDEO OUT THERE ON NOTION CREATOR BUSINESS. New creators aspiring to earn a fortune will thank you for giving them the clarity that was missing from all earlier creator videos. The way you simplified the numbers shows the astonishing clarity you have around your own work. Keep going Matthias, fantastic work.

Very different type of video this week - behind the scenes of being a Notion Creator instead of the usual tutorials. Would love to hear from you: is that something you'd like to see more of? Also, really badly miscalculated my average hourly rate as a lawyer 😅 it felt kind of weird in the moment that it came out that low, but yeah... that was wrong! The correct rate would be roughly $52 (240 hours per month * 12 months makes 2880 hours, not 12500...)

Love your honesty about the financial rewards from the time you invested in the various tasks involved in a template business. (Or even any passive income business). This is the first video of yours I have seen, but I will definitely be checking your others out. Someone who is this brutally honest is definitely worth getting to know. TY Matthias.

Thank you so much for this transparency ! I'm building a huge Template that would probabky make my hourly rate worth a few cents. I literally just resigned from my job to persue it professionaly
@mfreihaendig11 ай бұрын
Best of luck with that! But yeah, good to keep in mind the math in in back of your head - how much do you need to make, what can you price it at and what does that mean for the # of sales you‘d need to get there 💪🏻

Matthias, please stop delivering quality content with high value information people can act on. The rules on YT are very specific - please conform to creating get rich quick BS videos with lots of flexing please.

Ah sorry man, my bad! I must have read the instructions back - brb, recording a quick video on how I make $10k a month showing others how to make $10k a month 😇

Hi, I think you have your hourly rate as a lawyer wrong. 240 hours a month and 12500 hours per year does not stack up. Great videos and you should be making more from your templates
@mfreihaendig11 ай бұрын
Oh yeah, you’re totally right! Off my a magnitude - should be 2880 hours 😅 Added a pinned comment to clarify, thanks for pointing that out ☺️ appreciate you!

Thanks a lot, really needed this insight. I have two questions I appreciate if you answer them 1- you mentioned you were able to quit your job by working for KHE, did it involve Notion? Do you mind sharing what kinda job it was? And if it’s possible for me to do the same and quit and improve while pursuing my own business? 2- when you started your business, did you have local clients or global online? What’s your tip on that? Thank you so much in advance 🙏
@mfreihaendig11 ай бұрын
Sure thing! My work for Khe was pretty broad - creator businesses are a bit like startups, small teams and tons of different things to do, so it’s typically more about being a generalist. My work involved Notion, Automations, Teaching Assistant, Email Sequences, Copywriting, website design, SEO, shorthorn video editing and many other things. If that‘s something you’re interested in, then there are always ways to provide value to others with a chance for it to turn into more - check out this article for example: radreads.co/10k-email/ Global clients for me - that’s the beauty of the internet, much larger potential client base. Though if you have the option to get in contact with local businesses, then that can be amazing too!

Hello.. I wanna sell notion template on social media platforms.. Which one is best? Twitter, Instagram, Facebook? ( I have 0 followers now )
@mfreihaendig11 ай бұрын
Doesn’t really matter - pick one platform and focus all your energy on it. Preferably one where you anyway spend a lot of time and have a feeling for the type of content that does well ☺️ You first need to build an audience and provide a ton of value for free before you can sell anything💪🏻

Hey. How's it going? Did you build and sell any templates? I'm building a SaaS. I'm going to use Notion to manage it. I'm not planning to sell notion templates but here's what I would do. Don't focus too much on making money. Money should not be your primary goal. Focus on solving a painful problems. Make sure there's a market for your idea, validate your idea and then start focusing on building your template. Your template must save time, or money, or anything that simplifies your customers' life.
