I appreciate the fact that you brought up UI Goku's physique in FighterZ, because there is a BIG difference from how he looked in the game to how he looked in the Anime/Manga. Honestly Goku along with 90% of the other characters in FighterZ look to be the biggest they've ever been. Arc System was all like "Just make everyone as big as they were in Z".

The smaller physiques that are well toned are my favorite. The bulkier builds aren’t my cup of tea but we all have our own preferences. The reason why I say this is because the smaller build looks like a more well rounded build because bulk seems to sacrifice speed for power.

How would you describe Yamcha's physique in DBS's manga where he comes back and gets his first battle W (without it being a tie/technical L with the Saibaman or the filler stuff where he whooped Recoome and Olibu)? authors changed......but toriyama did discuss this in interviews in the 90s too. The concept of muscle in manga/animation has changed since the 80s. What we excepted in live action and film/animation is no longer. We went from bulky huge men to more fast and powerful without huge size.

Z-sthetic’s I think it’s hard to find a series with characters with similar plot points were we see how their bodies looks as a kind and have episode after episode with their bodies changed. Db is so far the only anime I see that done that. However, if I had to pick anime maybe Baki or kenichi the mightiest disciple. I think those two so far as a similar this that I talked about. Baki has a time line with him and how he looked before and his training. And kenichi doesn’t really have that similar time line like training since birth but it still works bc we see what he looked before and after. Unlike other anime where their bodies remains the same.

Cumber has that prisoner type of physique & thugged out training vibe. He was a beast-like Saiyan anomaly like Broly, just not as massive in bone density, huge & balanced out with his speed. Not the guy you'd want to be in the same cell with lol I was always watching prison exercise vids in middle school, & it built the foundation for me to be extremely strong. I didn't have money to access a gym as a teen, & had only a couple dumbbells while doing countless pushups. He's probably my most favorite out of all them besides Goku's mindset & Bardock.

Hey jax you helped me out a lot and I recently got into some injuries and recover but gain tons of weight. I’m trying to lose weight but stay healthy so I’m starting at 1300-1600/day calories and see where that gets me. I exercise and that burn calories so I need to refuel but I also work 6-10 hours just standing or walking around at work. And roughly that’s 800 calories burn. So should I can’t this as part of the calories lost so I don’t eat too less or this standing and walking don’t count and should ignore because it’s just what I burn normally? Because that would be being able to eat 1300 calories vs 2100 calories.

This is an extremely unpopular opinion but I prefer when the characters are more lean or just have less detailed muscles. There are exceptions like broly or tien. But you got admit that when he was at the high school he performed that pretty boy jock who admired his muscles more than his performance. The one thing that came out of GT that was impressed with was Uub. Is scrawny kid that's actually overly charged because he was a reconnation of kid Buu who in his teens became Jack in the very first episode and then later merged with fat Buu to become Marjuub. Are you going do 1 for the Villains of Dragon Ball as well? 1 more thing, if you had to rank a level stat on a character, what would they be?
