The way her husband sneer/smirk while she destroys Joe was surely NOT scripted, so I'm pretty sure those two were always having their 'talks' and insults the contestants thinking themselves as someone high and mighty. These are the kind of insecure people who would see a talented person and would want to ruin their confidence immediately so that they won't pursue the career.

Honestly the fact that the husband was smirking only makes it seem like it was scripted. Why else would he smirk like that? There was no shock or distress or anything unusual in his expression. It's like they knew exactly what they were doing because they planned it beforehand.

Man, this unlocked a memory - this was everywhere on Facebook at the time and people hated Natalia and her husband. At least where I’m from in the UK, I don’t think Natalia Kills was known at all, and so most people seeing this were learning about her for the first time, so that didn’t do wonders for her career! I’m not surprised that it could’ve been scripted, considering the show’s association with Simon Cowell.
@nootnewt9323

Natalia Kills was pretty popular on internet spaces along with Iggy Azalea (ironically another person who had a short lived career due to their own antics). I liked her music, didn’t care for her because of the X Factor thing and then felt absolutely terrible for her because her career was destroyed over a planned moment. She could’ve had a decent music career had it not been for that imo. I think now she goes by Teddy Sinclair maybe to distance herself from “Natalia Kills.” But let’s be real everyone will always remember her telling a contestant that he looked like her husband while wearing a Willy wonka Bob cut. Making a deal with Simon Cowell is like making a deal with the devil, folks. Don’t do it!

Look at Erica Mena from Love and Hip Hop. She called another star a monkey and L&HH sat on that footage till they aired it and subsequently announced that Erica wouldn't be returning to the show when she received horrible backlash. Yeah, the show said that it was a basic haircut and suit. She actually believes that her husband is original because he wears suits in his videos, so no one else can, and yet she copies Cleopatra, hypocritical much! Natalia and her Willy Moon aka, her husband, did not create the Gentleman’s suit, like they seem to believe. That style has been around for generations. The only thing the two men had in common was their hair color, and Natalia and her Willy didn’t create that either.

When she was screaming at Joe for copying her husband, the other judge said,”Aren’t you copying Cleopatra?”. Yes, she is. And yet she has the nerve to be all hypocritical. She says, “Well I am going to state the obvious”. No, it’s not obvious that Joe is copying her husband, but it’s obvious that she is copying Cleopatra. More people know who Cleopatra is than they know who her dick husband is. I never heard of a Willy Moon and just because he wears different color of suits doesn’t mean that he invented the gentleman’s suit. And she accused Joe of copying her husband’s hair when it was a completely different style. What her husband owns that same hair color too. She’s like, “I’m embarrassed to be here”. Yes, I completely agree that she should be embarrassed to be there because her and her husband are an embarrassment.

Simply referring to an NDA tying to her up was revealing in itself. Some DNAs don’t allow you to refer to there even being a DNA, because it basically gives you the freedom to insinuate everything except specific details. I think there may have been a scripted joke that was a bit at the expense of her husband, and they were insulted by it and took it to ridiculous extremes. A while ago I read somewhere that the producers pushed Joe’s stylist to have him dress similarly to Willy (literally just a suit and slicked hair) without Joe knowing, which now makes sense as to why Natalia and Willy accused him of “copying” Willy’s style, since they would’ve been in on it with production, but Joe’s reaction was genuine since he was out of the loop the whole time. I honestly don’t understand how production thought this stunt WOULDN’T go south for Natalia and Willy’s careers. You have 2 of 4 judges rip a guy to shreds over something irrelevant to his singing performance, for the sake of having a Simon Cowell moment when they aren’t even well known like Simon. I feel like if production wanted to go this route they could’ve just had them be like “the performance was great yada yada, but have a style the is true to you, I see my husband up there, when I wanna see you” might get some confusion and boos from the audience, but it will pale in comparison to what actually happened.

An interesting fact: a soft piano ballad 'The Happiest Girl' from Blackpink's 'Born Pink' album which a huge amount of fans loved, was written by her :) I hope she gets a nice share from this song P.S. Btw if someone intends to write smth like 'She doesn't deserve it cos of X factor shit' - she was set up for the big booty scandal, hello hello. TV is a lie, don't believe everything you've seen there, especially with a lot of dramatic editing cuts. X factor show is disgustingly known for these types of set ups. And I truly can’t imagine there’s many celebs out there that could get away with saying something so cruel and mean to someone in that position. Simon Cowell being mean(and I don’t recall him being this cruel to a contestant that made it that far) is one thing, and most people don’t really like him anyway, he just can sell artists really well so they listen.

Natalia Kills wasn't what I would consider a bubbling star. She had hype since 2009 and by 2014 nothing really had happened (She was being called Gaga wannabe). She was criticized constantly and was very confrontational in interviews. in the UK she is still mostly known for her moderate hit song Don't Play Nice from 2005 in which she performed as the rapper Verbalicious. Her constant name change from Natalia Keery-Fisher to Cappuchini to Verbz to verbalicious to Kills and now Teddy Sinclair hasn't exactly been helping her.

There are people that still support her and defend her these days which I'm happy about. 😊😊 I like that she's still able to follow her passion for music by writing for other singers/groups. I truly believe the money is BEHIND the scenes. 😌😌 That whole stunt was blown WAY out of proportion, I'm still shocked at how disrespectful, sexist and downright racist people are towards her. 😐😐 I've never seen that kind of vitriol towards any other judge from reality TV talent shows, except some general disappointment. How people still treat her to this DAY is weird and quite frankly, fan behavior. 🥴🥴 The world just wasn't ready to have a melanated edgy popstar I guess. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ I hope she was/is able to find peace out of all this and hopefully she can get out of that awful gag order!! 😬😬

The fact that people are questioning if this show is staged is fukin hilarious. They’re not “scripted” in the sense that what they have to say is written in exact words but you are given a personality type to play with (mean judge/shy contestant/cocky heel character/ect.) The producers pick mini storylines “this contestant is going to be laughed at then wow the judges” or things like that then youre nudged/coached to go a bit overboard with it. Gag orders (and image release forms!) are signed by almost EVERYONE in competition reality shows to prevent spoilers and allow them to edit you however they want.
