Even in my country if something like that happens, it can destroy the whole school, multiple lawsuits will be in action and the bully will most likely be prosecuted in some way. Of course there is still minor bullying but when something big happens, it certainly hits the school hard so actions are always taken and usually they are efficient enough to prevent another attack.

Svetoslav Lalev in a way, some schools in America think it’s the victim’s fault. It’s horrible, no one does anything to help them and eventually the bullies push them over the edge. The worst part is the bullies tend to be popular with students and teachers so the sometimes the staff doesn’t believe the victim if they have the slightest amount of courage to tell someone about it.

@@cate1487 In my country there aren't any "popular" kids or at least not as obvious as in the USA. That prevents a lot of problems. However sometimes, even if i am not sure if it would fall under the same categorie, the victim IS to fault. We had one occurrence in school when a kid got beaten up very badly (which i do not support) but both his parents acted like he is an angle and never did anything bad (typical parents thinking their child is perfect... god the world would be so much better if people could realise that children are little devils and CERTAINLY not angles). Anyways, later on it turned out the "victim" has been provoking the "bully" for weeks, making up lies for him, and overall not knowing his limits. At some point the "bully" couldn't handle it anymor and beat him up. Now i do not agree how badly he beat up the kid, however he deserved a lesson for life. We commented on that in class and even the teachers were like "yup... he surely deserved it, he is ANYTHING but an angle" the teachers weren't surprised a lot about the whole situation. Point is, the alleged victim sometimes is to blame and the whole reason there were any poblems to begin with.
