As a business owner, how do you like people to bring up pay/salary? Most jobs I've had have up front told me in the interview and others once I'm offered the job. That's not the only thing I look for in a job, but it's important information to me to know.

Wished that y'all had a Salon in Houston.i love the atmosphere there and love how y'all get along and help each other to improve! I currently specialize in men's cutting. But would love to get into a full service Salon but all the high end salons they have here with training require you specialize in color/chemical or cut/style and I want to do both. Y'all are amazing and thanks for all of the education :)

I disagree with the "all black" comment when dressing for the interview. I think dressing professionally with a splash of bright colour somewhere helps make you memorable or else you could just be another pretty girl? Colour ads a bit of personality.
@DanteVelasquez7 жыл бұрын
That was great lol. If I was interviewing prospective employees that were 15 minutes late the interview would be over 1 minute after they arrive. Anything more than that I would refuse to see them.

I love you videos you should post more they are really great and really professional. I watched your interview one the night before my interview at a salon and I got the job almost immediately after! You gave a lot of tips and tricks! Thanks for the help

The interviewer is so nice here! That is not how it is in real life! Every job interview I’ve been to the one given the interview acts like a detective Interrogating a murder scene and like she’s going through menopause and having a hot flash at the same damn time!

This actually helped me, I've been applying as a salon assistant at a few salons and the first salon I had an interview at the owner said I was great on paper but my interview skills werent very strong and she said if I practice and apply in a few months I possibly would be hired! Thanks for the pointers!
@renehill33512 жыл бұрын
That’s so lame I’m sorry But if she liked you and you had the skills that she was looking for the fact that just because you weren’t a great interviewer so she didn’t hire you is pretty lame. I mean is she looking for a hairstylist or a professional job interviewer..?? That’s just completely ridiculous especially the platt where she said apply again like scre you lady either I have the skills or a don’t. So dumb. If a hospital was looking for a heart surgeon and they found one and he was like really good they wouldn’t say well he’s exactly what we need but he wasn’t the strongest interviewer so we couldn’t hire him. Give me a break.
