Phew - some tips that make sense! I’ve started again after 10 years full time mother and my time and attention is not the same. I’m over complicating my Trello board and twisting my brain in knots. I’m going to apply your lists - so much simpler and really all I need at this stage. Thank you!

I have a schedule where every Thursday morning is filming day and then the other days I edit. Sometimes my videos take weeks, but that's ok.

What are you using to add the lettering “I don’t have time”to your video? I have been using iMovie on iPad and it’s pretty limited on features unfortunately. Have to get creative when adding effects

I created the words as a graphic in Canva, imported that into Adobe Premiere and added it as a layer over my video. I think you might be able to do the same in iMovie… inserting as a graphic, but it’s been a while since I’ve used it.

@@BrandonBautista are you paying for the premium canva? I only make $10 a month on KZbin which essentially covers my music costs 😂🤦‍♂️. Until or if it becomes more profitable, I try and not spend too much on a fun hobby 🥴

@pnwpaths2925 I do have access to Canva Pro, which allows me to export images with transparent backgrounds. Have you tried using CapCut for editing on your iPad (it’s also free)? I think that has a bunch of advanced features; perhaps they have a text tool that would give you what you’re looking for?

@@BrandonBautista I have both of them but haven’t checked them out much. Eventually moving over to Final Cut Pro but I got really comfortable with iMovie. It’s fun learning new tricks though and people don’t even realize how much time some of them take!

BTW - a great way to implement those lists is to use a Trello board. Just create a board, add 6 lists (ideas, research, writing, filming, editing, published) and you're off. You can put the app on your phone so you can capture stuff while standing in line at the Starbucks.

I live in the tourist visitation place Zakopane, is very popular in my country, so I just make videos here but. no one in my city makes vlogs about the city only travelling people so I will make some. I also plan to travel to other countries, and I did already but what you said it’s true it’s no time to make videos, if I spent so much time on my editing videos, I will not record so I’m just posting what I can….
