I like these urban/rural mixed planets, it gives a lot of depth to them rather than just big city or farm planet.

That should explain most colonized planets, but I get it. Most Star Wars planets should be diverse, not thematic monoliths.

Some of my favorite missions in Old Republic Online is the Republic Commando starter ones on Ord Mantell. The whole conflict and planet feels like a war in our world. They got outposts and fire bases setup, local defense militias, media and combat journalists covering the war, whole thing is just really well done.

I absolutely love when Star Wars media visits planets like this. It adds to the depth of the galaxy we get to see, then we get a great Geetsly’s video on it!

well considering the fact that you start the swtor smuggler storyline at ord mantell it's was clearly a scumhive even 3600 years before the Battle of Yavin

I always pictured Ord Mentell as it looked in the game Shadows of the Empire. Dirty full of junk with rusty water everywhere. Glad it stayed the same way.

I know Han killed the Bounty Hunter he encountered at Ord Mantell in Legends, but for continuity in Canon, I would like to think he encountered Greef Karga and/or Din there and Han almost gets the better of one or both.

A planet where only gamblers and tourists can be demoralized in case it falls? Small wonder Boba Fett was rumored to have enough mind to help save this planet. If only the Denning-verse and the Legacy comics turned that fact into a really good plot point.

I feel like, unless it is done by someone who practices Himduism, or someone who practices it is part of the creation process, their might be one or two accidentally ignorant things said. Obviously, nothing purposeful, Geetsleys is rather respectful of real life peoples, but accidents happen if you aren't careful. That being said, that'd be a cool video, I'd watch that!

@@gavinboyer4634 very true, there would probably be a mistake or two. Nothing malicious though! I’ve seen a few interviews of Lucas referencing how Hinduism and Buddhism inspired certain philosophies, names, etc. would be very interesting to see a bit of that covered!

Funny how don't seem to matter what it is an where they are if your not as good at or better even then war then THEM.. You just cant beat a Mandalorian force in battle.
