You boys need to learn how coffee works. Milk makes it burn worse, not less... It comes down to chemistry. Milk's great for slowly neutralizing oleorosin of capsicum, but it's so slow that it literally doesn't do as much as your own body to negate it. Coffee is chemically opposite in polarity to OC, and so it reacts rapidly. Also, the caffeine helps to overwhelm your nerve endings, blocking out the availability of pain receptors in your skin and esophagus to the OC. I'm not sure where the Milk myth came from, but it's actually a false sense of promised ease. It really doesn't deliver.

@DeskPop PAVA is a pepper. Whether piprine, oleorosin of capsicum, or mascelene, it doesn't change the fact that human biology doesn't respond to Milk alone against the skin. I'm sure it helped. After around 20 minutes of choking. I'm asthmatic- I also LOOOVE 5 alarm chili. I couldn't eat chili without coffee... F4t, that's all. Sometimes I wonder if people learned biology, or just heard the word and thought, "hey, I likes fuckkin, tooh!"

@@DeskPop caffeine and coffee's effect on things like mace, OC, and black pepper (since big words hard) are due to human biology, not milk's slimey proteins or coffee's ability to bind with other chemical irritants. It's actually mostly due to the caffeine. However, it's still faster. That's why it's used in Texas at the annual chilifest, and also why it works for people who have asthma.

Capsaicin is about 16 million Scovilles, OC just like pava, which is synthetic OC is X% of the mixture, so its not full strength, Major Capsaicinoids is the leading contender over scovilles to determine effectiveness, CS gas, is different, a crystalline solid irritant

PAVA smoke is what's needed, instead of powder/CO2. This is an area denial device, it needs to cover more than 15 ft. My opinion is that in any scenario where I see this as a useful option, it's not really adequate.

I've been exposed to PAVA a lot often. I actually enjoy messing around with it but that last thing you want to do is get it wet. If you literally would've just hung out and changed clothes you would've been fine. You have no idea how much worse you made it on yourselves by making that pava powder wet.
