Forensic photographers work tirelessly to paint a picture from the remains of a murder. Blood splatters, bullet holes and wounds are all scrutinised closely to tell the victims story and prove the killers guilt.
Forensic scientists work with a variety of methods (i.e. computer technology, anthropology, entomology) to solve crimes which would otherwise remain unsolved, through finding seemingly obscure clues such as tire tracks, bullet fragments and hair samples and then putting the pieces together. Interviews with forensic pathologists, cold case detectives and victims families show the process entailed in each case. Three separate cases are spotlighted in each episode of this series.

I have HVAC and appliance repair experience from many years and I have never heard of a "thermocoupling". I have, however, replaced my share of thermocouples. Thermocuples are extreme low voltage devices that produce 1.5 VDC and are used to seance the presence of flame or as high temperature thermometers. There is no way that a thermocouple could, in itself, start a fire. If they fail they fail "open" there by shutting the equipment down, in most cases.

Just think! This was the state of technology 20-30+ years ago. We now have commercially available ultra high speed cameras that can be bought for only a few thousand dollars, that can slow down or track in motion even a tank cannon shell, and extreme high fidelity digital cameras that can record practically limitless quantities of pictures and the minutest details in ultra high resolution, without the need for a dark room. The equipment available for use today has probably completely revolutionized forensic photography in every possible way!

what seems odd to me is in the nursing home case, where was this only survivor of the fire { the nurse} when the fire broke out? I work as a Health aid, I have worked both home health as well as in a nursing home. it has been my experience that in a small facility like the one here the night nurse or staff must do bed checks every 1 to 2 hours to make sure the patients are where there supposed to be. now I know this happed back in the early '70s and government guidelines were different then, however, even at that time bed checks were done and the Night staff was not allowed to sleep on the job. so where was this nurse and why were bed checks not done? I am just saying that it seems very suspect in my opinion. I am not saying she had anything to do with the fire. What I am saying is it seems to me there was negligence on her part. I am wondering if the owner of the nursing home was sued for negligence or wrongful death, probably not though since it wasn't common in the 70s to sue someone or a business in court.

@patriciamariemitchel
@patriciamariemitchel Жыл бұрын
@@prometheusunbound7628, That's the point of it. God is the Author of life and the Creator. He decides who lives and who should die. Abel, for instance wasn't a witch; that's why it wasn't alright to kill him. 🙄 Let me answer your next question. We don't kill witches now because we are living in the Age of Grace. That will continue until the Rapture of the saints. When we are gone men will once again live by their own rules and the antiChrist will decide who lives and who dies. For now, and even then, whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. If you wait till then, it will cost you your head.
