It is just ridiculous to clear someone of a crime or blame someone from a polygraph test. There's a reason they're not used in court. A person can easily pass one by being a good liar and there are some real good liars out there. It's the same with an innocent person who is just plain nervous and fails it. In no way is it full proof

Bite mark analysis absolutely is junk science. The average rate of error found by scientific studies on the efficacy of bite mark analysis is 55%. The lowest result I've come across is a range estimate of 11-22%. The median result is 63%, and the highest I've seen was 91% (think the 91% was counting cases where the analyst said they couldn't make an identification based on the evidence as "error", though). Either way, that is a pretty terrible error rate. Certainly not high enough to meet the "beyond any reasonable doubt" standard, wouldn't you say?

You can't 'match' a bite mark. Many men have been exonerated after they were convicted that way. You can definitely include a suspect with a bite mark as well as exclude, and along with other evidence convict.

I was thinking the same thing. While watching a documentary on Bundy they said something about how unreliable it is. Possibly they advanced their methods, like DNA in saliva that would be left, super screwed up teeth might leave obvious marks.

because only godly people know that? Godly action does not have to equal good. I prefer NOT to be "godly". Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children. (Isaiah 13:15-18 NLT)

Yes I realized that immediately too, same initials, different names. I will never forget when it happened. My oldest daughter who was the same age came in with her best friend to ask if she could go to a party, her friend already had permission to go so it was up to me. I simply picked up the newspaper I had just finished reading, tossed it onto the table and said, “read this and ask me again”. They read the cover story, got quiet and asked if they could just have a sleep over instead. I’ve always thought of these victims all these years, it gutted me at the time.
