Not just hypoxia but also hyperoxia. I am a 76yo masters athlete and use a treadmill in a hypoxic chamber (at 11,000 ft equivalent) and I use a hyperbaric oxygen chamber at 1.5ATM and 95% O2. I also use Maurten's bicarb system and take about 30 supplements a day. I also have regular blood tests tracking my values and adjusting my intake accordingly. Lowly retired me can do this without medical and nutritional support and break an age world record (in 2023) on just 12 weeks training. At 76 my resting HR is 39, my HBA1c is the same as a 24 yo's and my RDW the same as a 36 yo's. So I am not surprised at POg's abilities given the vast support he has access too. The anchovy on the other hand has a complexion that reminds me of what I observed in the 80s and 90s. 7.5w/kg for over 13 minutes?
