@@Jamal-im5yu Any car can run forever. Ever been to Cuba ? You will see 50 year old cars still running, i grew up with Mitsubishi L300, we had like 500 of them, we buy them, cut them into a pick up truck and use them to transport cows, they’re 30 years old and still running. I’m in a Range Rover club, we have Range Rovers chasing 400k miles. It all comes down to how you service and maintenance your car.

I have an 03 LE and it doesn't smoke or make the turning sound (206k miles). I don't drive it hard at all, though, and I take very good care of it. I rented a new 2021 Camry for a day to see how it compared and while it was sexier for sure, I prefer how the older one handles.

This is my favorite Camry Le because my mama had one for years when I was little. To better understand how great the gas mileage it gets. She only had to fill it up 5 times to drive from Oklahoma to Oregon! That is impressive 🙂 at least to me. As with any vehicle, maintenance is a bit pricey. This car isn't a sports car or anything fancy so maintenance is affordable. Mama makes 50k a year and I make 25k a year annually. She has a new Altima. 2022 I think but I still have my 03 Camry and I love it. My dream car is a 94 Toyota Supra but hey that's only a dream lol R.I.P Paul Walker 😭

Nice POV. Just wished more Dealerships used this style of video instead of the plain old showing pictures of the car and having a robotic voice read the all the specs and features. Yes you are right about the oil burning. The 2.4L 4 cylinder on this generation was notorious for that. Just make to notify the future owner about that problem.

I have 03 LE (170k miles) and it also give blue smoke during start but it’s all ok. The best car ever made, I don’t want to change it. The only one issue I have it’s Aisin transmission. Since 2 years it’s a little harsh shaking the vehicle (for a 0,1 sec) during taking on/off foot from the gas pedal but I hope it will last some more time.

(I actually blew the head gasket trying to clear out the car for a smog) She ended up hitting a 2018 VW Jetta in a parking lot hit the gas instead of the break. Thought the Camry was totaled? Came back from the body shop on Friday. Trying to find a empty parking lot for her to practice. LOL! Hope we can drive it for another 5 years. Has about 115,000 miles.

Majority of Camry from 2003 to 2014, burnt oil in the 2.4z engine. Mine started back at 180,000 miles ago. I had the PCV changed and now it doesn't burn a lot of oil. I can get 850 miles on it before I add about 1/4 quart of oil. Synthetic is all I use. I just had to replace the center pipe and muffler. Her RPM on start up is running high, I guess I'll have to soon put in a new battery, the one I got is 6 yrs old. It's soon to go and it will be a Interstate. (the one I got in there now). So far, she has over 200,000 miles on it. As long as I take care of the car, it will take care of my needs. Paint and everything else looks like new. Seats are leather not clothe. Mechanic that works on my vehicle said my car the best looking one for it's age. Looks new and runs great! Air conditioner is original and still freezing cold.

All the problem is is that the valve seals are drying out. I had a 1989 Camry when I was a teenager that blue one puff of Blue Smoke out the tailpipe on the first start in the morning. King Toyota in Deerfield Beach told me that the blue smoke only in the morning was a sign of engine failure and would cost $2,000 to replace the engine. Skeptical I drove it over to Sears where the mechanic told me to add 1/4 cup of Marvel Mystery Oil every time I get an oil change and it will buy you some time. I literally drove that Camry an additional 200,000 miles before selling it to a relative who still drives it today. So try that. And by the way I think that my 2000 Camry with just over 453 K miles was by far the best generation of the Camry. It's not as quick but it's a lot smoother then later generations. It felt closer to it's cousin the Lexus ES then any of the other Generations. I hate that Toyota keeps trying to make the Camry sportier and sportier when that's not what made the Camry a Camry.

No way 03 v6 xle 330k miled uses no oil get 20 in town 30 highway at 75mph. Best car i ever owned and has plenty of power without straining motor. Had 4cyl, now 6, never go back. Mileage is not much different at v6 does not have to rev to get going.

Is radio factory? Anytime people upgrade stereos you run risk of crappy install. I suggest removing radio and checking connections even if stock if anyone went into dash they may have pulled something lose, also check battery terminals clean and tight and check battery ground cable is secure and clean where it attaches to frame or ground point
