I bought a used 2000 LS a couple years ago. The gas gauge works about half the time. Are they any known fixes?

Could be the gauge. (Testable) Could be the float in the tank. Also testable. Really no way to just guess. If I had to choose, probably in thank. Next time the fuel pump goes, make sure to replace pump & float as a unit. A good shop can test for them.

All 3 brake light won’t work for mine does the top light have anything to do with the other lights if it doesn’t work will it stop the other two from working

You are assuming that all 3 lights have been working all this time. Maybe the third light has been out for some time. Have you have tested the third brake light for power when the brake light switch is pressed? If no power, it could be your brake switch. (of course it could be many other things not easily traced)

@@unclemarksdiyauto I bought all new brake switch, bulbs , checked everything for power all of them getting power I bought a brand new turn signal switch put it in thinking that was it an still not working
