Yep. Hair hair matters a lot. In a world where having pink hair is natural, seeing Seraphine having to dye her hair gives us the idea that she puts *a lot* of effort into her craft. Another thing that Necrit completely missed that peeved me was in the Acoustician's description: _"Once, he'd dreamed of leaving Zaun and traveling the world with a song in his heart. The Varus' one is pretty important since it helps distingush Seraphine from Sona. Whereas Sona has the same ability as Jhin, controlling peoples actions and emotions. Seraphine purely hears a persons song but can also hear other voices within Aphelios, Kayn, Yorick, Udyr, and all of the voidborn, etc. LoR fixes not only her lore but also her power.

As someone who currently lives in war I would add that her "tiktok" vibes personality is something regular civilian people need. I can't tell you how much all the quirky optimistic songs has helped me to go through the year without losing my mind completely. And they gathered a big audience too, even had concerts in subway stations. When Seraphine was released I was also kinda disappointed with her character design at first, but now I see it as a more realistic character to live in that area. Not everyone should be a fighter, but giving hope is a huge task as well. (I'm not talking about her as a appearance in-game, but more of a concept of a optimistic out-of-settings singer living in a very dark place).

If you notice almost all Zaunite characters have unnaturally colored hair from birth meanwhile piltovian characters have more grounded tones in their hair. So having Seraphin dying her hair to appear more connected with Zaun is a cool touch.

LoR improve Sera by basically expanding and adding in additional tidbits that she lacked in her LoL introduction. Her performing at Zaun, her interactions with her dad, and even her art shows so much like her making her guitar and her hair being dyed. While, i wish we get to see more of her empathetic abilities, hopefully this gets expanded on in Skarner's rework.

Seraphine's new design for me has things that make it WAYY better -there is not glitter in her clothes, there is no material that would seem out of place for a Piltovan -she has the same aesthetics as the other champs around her -it shows us the type of person she is better than her lore -It ages her a little bit, maybe similar age to Zeri and gives her a unique face(thank u Jesus) I really really like her! It wouldn't be bad if they changed her ingame appearance to fit

What I like about this is that the Seraphine in League still plausibly exists with this update, LOR just shows us another side of her. You couldn't convince people League's Seraphine would go anywhere near Zaun, something even the champion designers seem to agree with judging by the voice interactions of champions released afterwards. This Sera opens up the idea that Seraphine would cater to different audiences, with different costumes and everything it's great

Make Seraphine challenge Camille to a rap battle (optional).

I think the reason why LOR has such good lore building is because none of it is fully cannon. It gives the developers the freedom to go wild and without delays. I just hope that whoever is in charge of the lore in Riot considers their lore ideas seriously.

Honestly I am of the opinion that Seraphine could very easily be fixed if they literally just put her into a good story. That’s the case for most problematic characters in League, frankly. Just give them good stories to flesh them out. Good execution can redeem almost any concept. Let her interact with Ekko, or Zeri or the other Zaun kids. Maybe explore how they feel about her - Zeri for one seems to be less than impressed with her. That’s grounds for interesting conflict. Have her interact with Skarner, or Zac who has similar empathic abilities. There’s a ton of different routes to take her character down if Riot is willing to just explore them.

The Zaun kids just see her as yet another idealistic Piltovan with no idea how their city works. I don't think she could have much of a comeback to them. If anything I would love to see what other Piltover characters think of her, since they would be the ones against any kind of peace.

Yep, after the fixes to her initial bio, Seraphine has always been a character with a lot of lore potential. Contrary to the biases many people had against her character, they'd make you think that her character was irredeemable without a retcon or rewrite of some kind and the fact that LoR does not contradict anything from her current bio disproved those biases.

The Legends of Runeterra champion designs are just incredible. Jax, Zilean and Master Yi got similarly excellent glow-ups and I prefer LoR's Udyr design over his LoL rework appearance.

This is the seraphine I wanted in the game. Not some preppy, egotistical, under-the-surface "I'm better than you" pop-star, but a down-to-earth musician who just wants to make a difference in the world. Her character in-game makes me think of "woke" celebrities that try to "share the plight" of the less fortunate while never actually walking in their shoes. Especially since she literally never even sets foot on the rift. Makes it feel like she couldn't even bother to get her shoes wet.

Theme is different, Seraphine is moreso on the idol thematic while Sona is on the instrumental thematic Kit is different too, Sona plays on the traditional Ministrel support skills (debuffing and buffing) in MMORPGs while Seraphine plays around a bard's destructive kit mixed with an enchanter role (only her W : Surround sound) Aesthetics are heavily different just from the design alone. And to be honest, the only reason that she gets compared to Sona is because of their powers being literally Music. Gameplay wise, they play differently as well. Sona is more on Sustain and buffing While Seraphine is more on making sets. Sure Sona can do sets with her Ult, But Seraphine is moreso inclined with it due to her E, Which doesnt have a unit cap as well as combos with previous afflicted debuff on a champion Plus, You gotta admit, Sona is basically Riot's poor attempt on making a ripoff of Hatsune miku playable in game And dont even try to tell me that just cause she has twin tails doesnt mean she's Miku, Cuz She literally IS fashioned to be Miku - Blue hair, Music themed, and Long twin tails with bangs, Which is ngl, kinda eh... (Riot basically tried to bootleg other charaters from popular franchises like for example, Sivir, They tried to make that warrior princess girl) lol
