USA cancelled the f35 deal, because UAE allowed China to build PLA Chinese army base in UAE, and USA didn't want to share the technology to opponent Chinese army...on top it has nothing to do biden, it's simply to do with western G7, EU and NATO countries future foreign policy is changed after cop 26 event, where they decided to change energy technologies from fossil fuels, gas and coal to more green carbon free renewable energy technologies, and that's why America needs Africa for rare earth material, a d other raw materials of thorium copper, lithium for ev and industrial batteries for solar energy grid...that's why Russia and middle east countries are trying to get together to protect their current energy market with a united front of foreign policy and military intervention in EU, because soon or later EU will stop purchasing Russian gas anyway...That's why Russia is trying to create instability in western economies to delay the shift changing on greener carbon free technology, because war and instability in economy will delay investment in new technology, on top Russia and middle east will enjoy the higher price of oil for the time being on oil either in western market or in black market...

We are not actually stupid. We are the most intelligent animal that ever lived on the planet. But we are still animals in the sense that we have instincts and emotions and all kinds of programmed behaviours that make it impossible to just do what is actually the best for us. How often do you actually do what's best for you? Not often. All the time we do things we actually know are bad for us. Eating shitty food, smoking, being mean to others, lie, etc. Does that make us stupid? No, it just makes us human. Besides, we evolved to live in groups of 50-100 people, now we're living in a global society of 8 billion, and people expect us to just manage that without fucking up all the time? I think it's a straight out miracle it works at all! We have created a global society with all kinds of amazing art, technology, we have gone to space, we have done all sorts of really amazing things, while being genetically more or less the same as we were 10 000 years ago when we were living in fucking caves. Humanity is really amazing. But we are animals. And we have to really make huge efforts when we want to push out of our "natural" behaviour. But we do. Only the US can exert economic pressure and that's because of the dollar reserve currency. Neither France or the UK can individually exert effective sanctions on any nation. Without the dollar, the US is actually of marginal influence on most countries economies. The US is not the largest trading partner, and most countries only have trade contact with the US on IT products especially software. America supplies nothing else that other countries can't supply. Russia has power, not strength. Strength is constructive, it's being able to build something that will last. Power is corrosive, it's the ability to destroy, and when it's not directed outwards, it's influence turns inwards towards itself. Russia has allowed itself, undeservedly, to tolerate this influence for the sake of the perceived security it affords the State. But the true brittleness of the Russian State is now becoming evident, and they are left with two choices. To forsake ambitions of power, and the policies that have turned it into a nuclear Glass Cannon; or double down on it's decisions and drag the rest the world into it's own quagmire.

@@ArawnOfAnnwn It's a way of appraising the utility of something. I can't tell if you're genuinely trying to unpack what I've said or not, but assuming that you are, let me try again. A man with a hammer has what may be called strength. Yes, a hammer could be used to destroy, or kill, but it's design is also able to be useful in the construction of a home. Strength can be thought of as power that is not limited in it's applicable utility to being solely detrimental. A man with a vial of novichok nerve agent can be said to have power, the ability to harm or kill one or many people. But that is it. His tool has it's function, but it's function does not have the utility of a hammer. You cannot build something with a nerve agent, it's value is in it's potential to damage and destroy. And while both of these implements may be used to kill, only one has the potential to be something more than just a weapon. This framing of strength to power can be applied to many things. I encourage you to consider how else this may be applied.

Russia is far advanced in missile technology. It has hypersonic missile which is a nightmare for USA.
@doujinflip2 жыл бұрын
If it can afford them, along with the network of long-range sensors needed to keep the missile on target. Hypersonics are _expensive_. Meanwhile the US just came out with a bolt-on guidance kit that can handle moving targets (ships, tanks, etc) for its hundreds of thousands of dirt cheap gravity bombs... Russia apparently exhausted its stockpile of precision guided munitions already.
