Is it possible to identify whether any KZbin channel is monetized or not?

You could make an educated guess-- how many subs do the have? Do you see ads running on their channel?

Great video! I have a small art/painting channel, and things definitely got skewed when I decided to use the Promotions tab to promote a few videos last month. One resulted in subscribers shooting up (an extra 7k views on it and 1.2k new subs), but may latest video is back to the normal 20-ish views. So I'm guessing that the Promotions tab really just resulted in a bunch of bot fake subscribers. I wish I hadn't run that promotion and just stuck to organic growth work! In a few months though I should be able to follow your advice and compare things to a 90 day period from last year.
