Kiros might be evil but he is definately right about King Obasi (Taka/Scar's father) was never a real king to his pride at all because Obasi is always considerably lazy and believing it was a king's job to do nothing and let others serve him. I mean the real reason why Taka/Scar was a coward during the whole movie because his father never taught him how to fight or to hunt like his mother Queen Eshe was the one who taught Mufasa to hunt. After watching the whole thing I've started to realise that it really is King Obasi's fault that Taka/Scar became the villain in the first place since he never really taught him the important of what it means to be a King like how Musfasa taught his son Simba in the first Lion King movie.

My favorite story of how scar got his scar is definitely the new Mufasa the lion king movie! I love the Liv action movies from Disney. I think things would have been different if Scar did not jump in to save him and Scar could have been king just like his father wanted.

I think the cgi movie and the animated hand drawn movie are both in different universes because in the cgi scar got his scar before he is in the lion guard so yeah defenetly in different universes But maybe after the battle with kuros he and mufasa became good brothers again and the scar started to dissapear than he became leader of the lion guard than he got bit by the snake and than he go back to priderock mufasa jokingly calling him scar and he became evil again but IDK what do you think

This is a very weak explanation. What I learned after five years of research: For a while, King Ahadi loved both his sons equally, but that changed over time. Taka began to make friends with the hyenas living on the border of Ndnona's lion pride territory, which was, of course, forbidden to a lion. From then on, Ahadi turned away from his second son, only caring for 'the golden boy' Mufasa. Muafasa's character also changed, he became pompous with his brother and spent less and less time with him. As a result, Taka became estranged from his father and brother, and from all the other members of the lion pride except his mother, Queen Uru. Taka may have received the scar, which later became his trademark, from his father as a child or as a young adult, or it may have been given to him by his brother Mufasa when Taka challenged him for leadership of the pride. From then on, Taka died and Scar was born. King Ahadi grew old and named his eldest son Mufasa as king of the Ndona Pride. From then on, Taka spent all his time with his mother. Uru sensed that he would soon be taking after his mate, so he asked "his little prince" that if he could not forget the hurtful words and rough play of his father and brother, he should at least forgive them. The next morning only Scar woke up, Uru was dead. The "eternal second" prince was left alone for a long time after that.
