Shaq was taken under the wing by Larry H Miller (a billionaire, former owner of the Utah Jazz, deceased now) who personally mentored him on how to build and buy businesses. He had a mentor that was already rich as hell. He’s said numerous times that he wouldn’t have made where he is business wise without Larry. And a lot of his larger businesses were Co- Owned by Larry H Miller while he was still alive. He still has tons of business in Utah.

I've discovered Shaq entreprenarial and academic achievement recently. I found it fascinating. Altough I love sport and he is a NBA legends, it's his approach to business that have been a subject of fascination for me recently "Boring business" He focus on what work and give money abundantly. He is also very patient, the man have complete a doctorate. Basically he focus on business that give cash flow generously wheter those business are "sexy or not" (Boring). He is very patient and he scale consistently. A Boring, well apply method.

It’s a lot easier to do all that when you have millions already to purchase these business. I need to see a video where it talks about an individual that’s lower to middle class, with a family and 1 income. I wanna see a video of that person becoming financially free and how that person was able to afford to purchase a boring business. It’s a lot easier when you have money and a lot harder for someone to do it when all there money is going to bills and to support their family.

As someone who is stuck in a 9-5. How do you swift yourself out of the wheel? How do you get into boring business as a small guy? When you don’t have celebrity money behind you. To run a successful fast food restaurant you need experience in it or have money to burn to learn. Both requiring time which you don’t have because you are working 9-5. How to jump over that?

Cody ❤ I would like to know your opinion on this. I am currently in Australia, working as a fashion designer in my field, but I’m passionate about business. Listening to videos and podcasts of this nature has been shifting my mindset more and more. My husband and I had the opportunity to purchase a well-known franchise in the cleaning industry. As you’ve mentioned in several videos, my idea is to turn that boring business into something different. My only concern is that in other videos, you’ve emphasized the importance of knowing what you’re getting into and having knowledge of it. I’ve never had any experience in this field, but I just want the chance to put my skills into practice, even though I know nothing about cleaning.

Will you need to establish an LLC or incorporate...etc ahead of buying a business? (If you could elaborate on this topic I would really appreciate it as well, I have watched many videos and the differences/risks in the long run are still a bit unclear for me) and simple details regarding early stages/requirements you should take care of before thinking about buying a business, even if you already know how to operate the day to day of said operation, thanks. 🙌🙌🙌

A lot of false and misleading information here as per usual: 1. Shaq made money from money he already had, in quantities only the top 2% of earners have. 2. Carwashes and franchises are not some pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. They require recurring investment for equipment, supplies, and labor. There are thousands of channels promoting the same rubbish all over YT and it's really sad. I'm here to help put things into perspective for folks.

Where do you find boring business for sale?
@kennethw69622 жыл бұрын
One thing I've learned regarding investments is that the closer you get to necessities, the higher degree of success you will have, the more stable your investment will be and the higher your rate of return. A great example of this is in real estate. Sure, a $3,000,000 house on a beautiful piece of land sounds idyllic and sexy. But it's a luxury item that has a very limited audience and your dollar for dollar ROI will be limited. Conversely, take the track home in Indianapolis that would be a starter home in a middle-class community. Not so sexy, but you will always have plenty of tenants and dollar for dollar you will get a greater return for your investment both on the rental side of things and on appreciation potential. A laundromat would always be a better investment than something like a day spa. This is because a laundromat is closer to necessity than a day spa.
