I gotta tell you. I am a retired Marine been riding since I was 9 years old and grew up with my step-father in a 1% Club, and all these rules and regulations and protocol....what is 'Free" about all of that? I am a .5%er (Retired Marine Combat Veteran), I ride when, where and how fast I want. I don't care what Club you are in or who you think you are but I ain't kissin NOBODIES ass. If I want to stop and have a beer and a burger at a public establishment I WILL and won't be paying any special homage to any MC. IF I wanted to start a club, which I NEVER would but IF I did, and some F'n wannabe tough guys threatened me.... bring it, I am pretty confident in my tactical abilities and those of the people (yes that includes women and different ethnic groups) that I chose to be in the club as well. Make sure you know who you F'n with before you start steppin on toes.

Took the oath because I felt I needed to earn my Freedom. Now that I have, I exercise it and NO ONE is going to tell me how to. End of story. To be clear, my point is that I live in SoCal where it is crawlin with "MC's". I don't feel any need to bow down to some group that doesn't even follow the original intent of an MC and respect is something that is earned. If you are going to try and "take" respect make sure you know what response will result from that attempt. The video showed up on my feed, I watched it out of curiosity, I have some experience with the subject and "voiced" my opinion. There...that is an example of my level of respect, I explained my position. Out and about, I mind my own business as was clearly stated in my comment, which went on to state that I won't be bullied by any MC's of any percentage point, the road doesn't belong to them. Similar to when I go surfing and some snot nose tries to tell that the waves belong to "locals". My response is the same to him as it would be to any MC.... F OFF, I surf/ride where I want. As far as "heeding own advice" trust me, that is the ONLY advice I heed and I don't care for any life lessons from the KZbin peanut gallery. I will go ahead and block the feed so that I don't offend the more sensitive among you.

That's nothing but straight bullying. And if I learned anything in my life, the answer to bullying is to stand your ground. I find that whatever happens, your bully will respect you more for standing up for yourself, than they would if you rolled over and gave into their demands. I admit it's a tough call. Big part of why I adamantly refuse to join any club. But if you put together a club, you are agreeing to be a brotherhood, and stick together through thick and thin. And if you just bow down to the demands of another club who's "testing" you, you're showing them that your bond is weak. Arguably a "bunch of posers", and they'll walk all over you. Because you won't do anything to stop them, and they know it. Even if you give in, to pacify them, that won't be enough. They'll squeeze you for every little bit they can get out of you, because they know you won't resist. Stand up to them, come whatever may. In the best case scenario, they'll stand down, and accept that you're legit, and respect you for showing some balls. At worst...shit goes down. But as a wise man once said, "If you die, you die fighting. Not begging". As BD said, when you put that MC on your back, you're signing up for this. Don't write that check, idly. And in my own opinion, if you won't defend your own patch, what business have you wearing theirs? I see 2 options only: Fight back, or shut down. In no case should you ever accept a patch over that isn't strictly voluntary. You've already proven you're not worthy of wearing it.

I have been and still will do my best to bring all MCs together. Its hard enough but this bullshit like this right here that stops peace dead in its tracks so I am going to say this one more time . I am a 1% er and i know exactly who dragon is talking about and what aera they are in .IT is a chapter of my club they are calling the dominate we dont use that small minded term. Dominate is the iron order member fucking the other iron order in the ass. So i call bullshit . We have not went patch for patch with any club since 1974 .Truth this club in question is hanging out with a rival 1% club that has killed 2 of our members in the last year .So the choice is pick a side either wear a support patch of ours or GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR TERRITORY .ITS THAT SIMPLE .... the most important advice to anyone in this situation is to know what kind of man you and your group are, there are wolves, sheep and sheepdogs. if you are sheep walk away or negotiate something. know they are wolves and prey on sheep when they have a group. alone most of them are nothing at all. sheepdogs stand their ground and don't look for trouble but when it comes their way they don't hold anything back. their wolves way of doing things is dying and they know it, the only clubs that have grown are the ones rooted in drug sales and their leaders don't last long because they squabble over money and turn on each other in an instant. the regular joe clubs who just want to enjoy themselves have grown and expanded ten fold and have NOTHING to fear, im a sheepdog and we have have your back, god bless and enjoy your life, we only get 1!

My advice for this 12 year old MC is the following: Hold up a meeting with the 1% MC which is demanding your integración with them and try to work out a deal between both clubs. Another option could be the removing of the MC patch and put an MCC patch instead and also if your back colours are a three piece you could work out a one piece full patch instead. You can bring these ideas to the table with the 1% er MC and see if they accept these modifications and let you Keep enjoying your riding with your brothers.

In my area Detroit does not have a problem with 1%er clubs. 99%ers are larger and more productive in the community here. The 99%er clubs in this area are full of cops, prosecutors, civil attorneys. With that 1%ers are some cool dudes and we all fuck with each other and support one another’s events and functions to get paid and ride, granted there are some big name 1%ers here but no one really wants trouble with them federal prosecutors who don’t respect MC’s weather they are 99 or 1%ers.

I am with you here, I for one am a nobody keyboard warrior so I can say what’s on my mind in no uncertain terms. I don’t care who he or they are, when the metal meats the flesh talk becomes useless. In many situations one man can make an army run for cover. It surprises me the ultimatum described in this video wasn’t forced on the spot. Tie the clubhouse doors shut and set the mother fucker on fire.... figuratively speaking. One man can make a huge impression and can send an army retreating. I’ve seen it. But if they retreat chase them to a choke point and decimate them. Read the Art of War by Sun Tzu. Not every war has to be waged by violence, the parables and lessons within that book if applied thoughtfully can yield a decisive outcome with ought violence.

Mikey OFFO I don’t need to prove anything to anyone. And it’s true that there are no pussies in a 1% club but people aren’t stupid either. If a train is coming even the toughest step off the tracks. Most club wars are fought by the few while the rest run for cover. Even in a combat battlefield where everyone participates everyone looks for cover. I’ve been around the block a couple times. I don’t know everything but I can assure you I’ve ran with honor less thieves and I know a thing or two of human psychology. Those who are hard got there from a rough life and being such are more predictable than the ones who have never had strife in their lives. And understand what one club may operate like in Nebraska or Florida another may be a polar opposite in Arizona. All in all if a dominant tries to force another club to patch over or become their support club there’s about 3 choices. Leave, do it or fight them. It’s what it is.

But if you watch this video.... in my area a club was forced to become a support club or disband. My comment about one man making an army retreat really was in reference to a single individual doing something outrageous and a group being taken off guard. Nothing more vulnerable than a group of bikes in the left lane and a semi truck who didn’t see them changes lanes and kills 6 and injures 7 others. A tragedy... never mind the fact the truck driver rides. This happened and that club left the state. One mans terrible accident made the club close its chapter. I don’t know all the political crap that led up to the decision but I imagine there was other pressure. In this video a story that’s told is nothing new and people can say whatever but the actions are usually by a minority of people. One person can have a huge influence. Or not. Since it’s questionable as to if I own a bike or five what would I know? I better get to work, I have a long drive today.

I thought you were supposed to go to the 1% club to start you're own. I do know that you should go to confederation of clubs or inner-clubs, for things like this. The 1% ain't going to GET along with LEO, and LEO ain't gonna get along with 1%, but I have been on several runs with 1%, LEO, Motorcycle Ministry clubs as well as "duck clubs" and independent and everything was cool and nobody gave the conversation before during or after about patch overs to anyone. Most of these "big clubs" want numbers, being most of the originals are dying off and the new breed taking over, well..... Just my opinion.

Mikey OFFO yeah I agree with the sport bike clubs. But the Outlaw lifestyle is a joke nowadays you still have a few hardcore dudes but not many. My father was one for 26 years I been wearing a diamond now for 14. But right now everybody in the MC world knows the outlaws MC are having a shit world of trouble within there ranks. I have a buddy who was a OL he just left after 5 years. Nobody said a word to him in his chapter. That is sad.

Actually, I think the person who is misrepresenting his case already gave himself away in the comments section to an earlier video shortly before the 'under attack video'. There he explained his case as being forced to be a support club instead of being allowed to patch over into an MC that is a supporter of that rival 1% club. So I am fairly certain that that letter is a bullshit story even if you hadn't explained below.

There are a lot of legitimate clubs on sport bikes. Most are 99% but not all. What you Ride doesn’t matter or define you. I am old and broken, I have found due to various injuries I can’t ride an upright bike anymore. Cruisers and even standard naked bikes are too much. It didn’t stop me from riding. I went out and bought a light sportbike that my 50% useful right leg can hold up, leaned over Riding position take the pressure off the nerves from the blown out spine and doesn’t cause too much discomfort for the pile of scar tissue that is my abdomen. Don’t judge the guys on the sportbikes, especially the really old and gnarled ones, they have probably seen and done a lot more than you think or could even dream. If you ask nicely we’ll even show you the scars from our bullet wounds, stabbings, slashes and shanking. 😉

BDNP, For anyone who has to contact you to ask a stupid question like that, your answer should always be the same. Put your cut down and walk away. Let's be honest here. If they have to ask you what they should do, then they aren't 1%er material. So if they decide to "try" that option, it's not going to go well for them. I have seen various videos on youtube, 99% club members talking shit in the comments sectioin and talking about how 1% clubs are going down, etc. About how 99% clubs are rising and will overcome 1% clubs. Funny thing though, where are they when 1%ers put on their cuts and walk out the door? They are NOWHERE to be found. But you can come home and find them by the hundreds, replying on youtube videos. Under a false name and they won't even say what state they are in. Lol! Yeah, true bravery! If it were up to me, there would be A LOT of 99% clubs shut down. Some states are approaching 150 99% clubs in them. Every time someone doesn't want to prospect, they start their own club. So they have ZERO experience, yet they start their own clubs. Gee, how could that possibly go wrong? And of course, it is causing numerous problems. It is destroying the reputation of clubs that have been around for years, like yours and mine. It's out of hand. There should be no more than 10 99% clubs in any state. And that is being VERY generous. If you can't fit into one of those clubs, then you don't need to be an MC member.
