This was very well done Ms. Fuentes, I don't know your first name? I've watched a few Filipinas' attempt to ask this question, so far you are the best I've seen doing it. I also like that you interview a few older women. Even though they say age is just a number I'm pretty sure most women would rather date someone closer to her age. Keep making videos I think you will get a lot more subscribers.

Great video and appreciative that you included a westernized Filipina in with the provincial Filipinas (variety). Actually "Auntie" @12:09 would be a Filipina I would really like to meet in the Philippines (a Central FL, USA Foreigner, 46 y.o.). If I wasn't 18-24 months away from the 'jump'/relocation. Our Creator gave us the outline and design for courting & marriage. It's nice to see a well-kept, mature Filipina who adheres to such standards. That would probably not exist in the U.S. For someone who doesn't really want (more) kids, never married, she seems rally nice.

I believe in forming a friendship before a relationship! Every old couple I talk to says the one thing that keeps them together is they are best friends first. So before any relationship I want a friendship to start.

Not necessarily! Some foreigners do share the spiritual convictions and dedication to Godly principles, to actually on first date attending a church worship and being introduced to some family members. It depends on just how interested, attractive, and compelling he would find the woman. If she gives him the correct impressions , he will gladly do so. Obviously these kind of foreigner men are different from the kind that drink, curse , smoke, chew , and run around with people that do. Hahaha 🙏

The video is very entertaining. And something that caught my attention and that happens a lot in other videos on the same theme. It is when they ask women if they are single, and they answer; it's complicated. It would be interesting to see a video where they can express, at what point after or during the cut do they consider that they are single or enter into a relationship? Or if they accept being courted by more than one man And if they see fit that a man woos more than one woman.

I do my best to translate their words to English. If you are having trouble understanding the words, there's a "CC" option for each of our videos and KZbin gives you English subtitles. KZbin's captions are about 90 percent correct for each video. Sometimes worse if the words weren't spoken clearly or too much background noise.

It doesn’t matter whether the foreigner is older than the parents of the Filipina, it’s part of Filipino culture and it also shows respect to the parents. For most Filipino parents, it’s shows them how serious you are to their daughter.

Well he definitely should respect the family go to there house greet them filipinos absolutely love it when a visitor from another country visits them eats with them i did it!!! The whole barangay will want to see him from my experience anyway of course depending on the foreigner behaviour too

If philippina women are becoming modernized, thus forgetting about traditional values (as western and european women have), well then, they should forget the word "courting" as well.

Before the interview starts, we say English only please. As soon as the camera starts recording, they become shy and nervous and English goes out the window. We have to move along the interview so I don't mind translating their responses.

When you ask someone to speak in what is their second or third language, one that they may not use every day, I think that it is highly unrealistic to expect them to speak in English only. In fact, there are several KZbin videos asking very fluent English speakers in Manila to discuss a sport in English ONLY and very often, they insert Tagalog words when they get stumped.
