This is the best training mode guide on the internet. No one is talking about how to use the training mode to create opportunities to land combos. I’m practicing whiff punishes on Ken CrMK and I’m consistently 2 frames late. Meanwhile you’re 8 frames early. That alone demonstrates the bridge we are trying to cross to get better.

Hold up. I dont think youre getting the credit you deserve here. That intermediate section, ppl dont even tackle that, let alone tell you that. These videos (bless their hearts) will tell you the basics and then basically tell you to go swim with the sharks. This video alone, honestly can be a guide for fighting games in general. Like, i can literally take ideas from this and apply it to old and new games. You, sir, are gawd-like for doing this. Salute to you. Now we just gotta get folks to start talking about labbing and match ups again 😅. Great video, boss. Stay blessed.

This might be the best guide out there for SF6. The intermediate drill is amazing. I had trouble with this stupid brain dead ken (1450 MR) and just focussing on the drill , i was easily able to kick his ass. It was so bad that the guy didnt even rematch

Update; Repicked up the game and got master using the intermediate training before each session and it didn't even take that long ! People really don't know what to do if you take away their jump in / drive impact in lower elo

I watched your video when it first came out. I'd say I'm among the top 1% players globally, but this is nothing compared to any of the memorable players... let alone the pro players. I can honestly say watching this video has definitely pushed me to get there. I cannot begin to express how useful the information every time I play.

Amazing training video. Already jumped me from 1300 MR to 1400 MR after a week of the intermediate exercise and I’m not even close to being consistent with it. This is THE best training video for Street Fighter 6 players looking to improve.

yeah, i just want to reiterate what other people have been saying (and leave a comment for the algorithm) and say that this is one of, if not THE, best videos i've seen on SF6. this is really helpful, i've started integrating some of these drills and almost immediately noticed results. any more videos like this will always be welcome. i've already recommended this one to several people.

This is probably THE MOST comprehensive lab training video I've seen. Thank you 801 Strider! By the way do you use all those recordings at once as a training tool? And what were the last 2 recordings? Or are they slots to cover things a player needs to work on?

Nice video, i'm trying your intermediate practice since i found out i can easly land anti air on the basic training one but in game going back and forth while looking for drive rush and whiff punish i can't anti air. Also found out when i try to shimmy grab and ennemy jump i don't react dp, while try to incorporate it

Thanks for the video, I have a question: why do most people recommend that beginners practice neutral *before* learning combos, rather than the other way around?
@801striderFGC
@801striderFGC 6 ай бұрын
Not sure I’ve seen that recommended, learning neutral without knowing how to cash out on hits seems counter-intuitive, whatever works for you though 🤷‍♂️

@@801striderFGC lol that's the thing, it *didn't* work for a long time, but that's the general advice i got in the beginning, "don't worry about combos at your level , just worry about neutral". i'm just glad to see that there's more productive advice out there. :)
