Well I'm a Spurs fan, and here's my take on the situation with Kawhi. Yes the way the shot went in was lucky, but the fact that it went in, wasn't luck at all, but pure skill, cause he is that kind of guy. I knew at the beginning of the 2018-19 season that Kawhi will lead the Raps to the finals (but I wasn't sure about them winning it all, and not because of the Raptors or Kawhi, who didn't lack anything btw, but because the Warriors were so strong). I hope Kawhi comes back soon, I still like him as a player or person, although I still (obviously) don't like the fact that he left us. We have to appreciate greatness, where it is. I'm honestly more sad that he left us than mad, because I believe that he'd be in a better situation than he was after he left us (and that's incredible, because he even won a ring in the Toronto, which the whole city deserved so much). In 2018-19, especially if Dejounte didn't tear his ACL (he would be an amazing role player for us, nothing more back then, now he's an all star worthy player), I believe that we would've won the chip if the Warriors got the same injuries as they did (also, the reason Manu retired is because the Spurs weren't competitive after Kawhi left and he knew that right away, so I bet he would've stayed if Kawhi didn't leave, and TP would've also stayed probably). And now, we would be even stronger (we probably wouldn't have Keldon Johnson, but maybe still Devin Vassell, because he wasn't projected to go this high, and maybe Primo too). Just imagine KD and Kawhi staying with there respective franchises (OKC, and SAS) the NBA would be way more fun than it already is.
