Quitting all social media a few years ago has been very beneficial for my nervous system. I find myself reaching out to specific people (and they to me) instead of scrolling through endless pages and watching ‘everybody’s’ life without actually having a meaningful conversation. I guess it’s quality over quantity these days. My last two challenges are (too much) KZbin and political/news content. My goodness, I’m an information addict! It is stealing my peace and joy and that’s too high a price.

I'm glad you made that decision and feel the effects of it! It is something that can generate a huge amount of negative self talk. Theres actually a study i found creating my ebook that mirrors what you found with quality over quantity.News was my weakness too. I was recovering during the vote to leave the EU in the UK and I couldn't stop reading about it. It was really messing with my mind. Had to quit that. All the best with the next phase of your curating! ❤

Yes 🙌 this is so true! I’ve come off it completely recently and while I feel completely disconnected from the world because I’m bedridden and alone, I’m glad I’ve done it. Even following just medical medium people was no good for me. I don’t think I’ll ever go back into any kind of social media. I have no Facebook no instagram no Snapchat no TikTok not even WhatsApp. Anyone thinking of giving up your social media DO IT!! It will be one of the best decisions you ever make whether you are chronically sick or not.

I am glad you agree Lisa and have found what works for you. That's what I had to do too. It quietened my mins. I don't think we're designed to see so much about everyone else. It's too much. Thank you for sharing. 🥰

Greetings all , I found the same fundamentals have applied in my recovery and that is the root of all diseases is stress that we aren't able to see and prosses and it works it's way down your nervous system into your organs and cells and a good diet doesn't hurt either 😊😊😉 although those chocolate chip cookies always seem to call me for some reason 😭 😆

Yes to all of this Ken! If stress hasn't caused the problem, most of the time it's contributing to keeping the problem in place! As for the chocolate chip cookies 😂! We all have our vices!
