This is me now, hating on myself having a massive meltdown.. My chronic illness is the result of medication I took during previous losses hurting my nervous system, it’s a bit complicated I don’t know, But I don’t get relief.. My mum died Recently too, and all the stress that lead up to that and the complications of my illness On our ones close relationship, and the grief was taking a massive toll. I didn’t even think I’d be able to go to the funeral, but I did through sheer grit And I’m paying the price for that too. I’m so sick of trying to be brave and Comparing myself to other people and feeling like a failure because I try so hard and I’m doing this on my own. I’m having the biggest meltdown now, my poor brain is screaming at me and I’m so sorry I’m using this to vent. Crime makes my symptoms worse, but right now I just want to run round the house, screaming and breaking things, but I’m too exhausted❤

It’s so confusing To get to an age when you realise, you don’t even know how to love yourself, or not in the way when you get into real trouble ❤️

I know from experience!!! Just being online to long in itself can harm your health. Sometimes our brains and eyes needs a break from the screen so that is why breaks are important. Also what you are watching can be harmful mainly if what you are watching are things like the News, Horror/Thriller films, (for some people) those who are addicted to violent games or pornography etc.. So yes, for myself I always take breaks and I am extra careful on what I watch which is mostly positive TV shows, games, I take it lightly on the news, "Comedy Always" and I have absolutely no desires of Tv shows like Horror, thriller, nudity and things like that. Miss Rachel O this video clip shows me that I am on the right track and this was indefinitely helpful. #Thanks #❤ & #GoodDay/Night

Norman Cousins first suggested the idea that humor and the associated laughter can benefit a person's health in the 1970s. His ground-breaking work, as a layperson diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, documented his use of laughter in treating himself -- with medical approval and oversight -- into remission. He published his personal research results in the New England Journal of Medicine and is considered one of the original architects of mind-body medicine. Dr. Lee S. Berk, a preventive care specialist and psychoneuroimmunology researcher at Loma Linda University's Schools of Allied Health (SAHP) and Medicine, and director of the molecular research lab at SAHP, Loma Linda, CA, and Dr. Stanley Tan have picked up where Cousins left off. Since the 1980s, they have been studying the human body's response to mirthful laughter and have found that laughter helps optimize many of the functions of various body systems. Berk and his colleagues were the first to establish that laughter helps optimize the hormones in the endocrine system, including decreasing the levels of cortisol and epinephrine, which lead to stress reduction. They have also shown that laughter has a positive effect on modulating components of the immune system, including increased production of antibodies and activation of the body's protective cells, including T-cells and especially Natural Killer cells' killing activity of tumor cells. Their studies have shown that repetitious "mirthful laughter," which they call Laughercise©, causes the body to respond in a way similar to moderate physical exercise. Laughercise© enhances your mood, decreases stress hormones, enhances immune activity, lowers bad cholesterol and systolic blood pressure, and raises good cholesterol (HDL).

If you ever happen to do a part 2 to your Q&A video my question is..... When your Chronic Pains are all over your body at the same time what is the best way to body tap and should I do it at night and/orr in the morning???
@rachelAO
@rachelAO 20 күн бұрын
Hey Torey, Great question. In this situation the best way to tap is whatever way feels comfortable for you at the time. It sounds like at certain times you'll have some points which might be uncomfortable to tap on, so just tap on the points that feel comfortable and don't make your pain feel worse. The time of day you tap doesn't matter so much - in fact when I was trying to heal I tapped whenever I needed it - so mini sessions throughout the day. That said, tapping when you wake up in the morning and then again before you go to sleep is a great way to get some nervous system calming in during the day. I hope that helps. ❤

Lately I have dedicated my tapping days right after my Sunday morning services (Church) at home. Also, along with that (If I am correct) tapping the areas where my chronic pain areas are. Hiya, I am just wondering if there is anything else that can be done to get out of fight or flight, in addition to EFT? (what is most effective) thanks :)
@rachelAO
@rachelAO 25 күн бұрын
Hi Sebastian, This is a great question! There are loads of additional things you can do. Physiological sigh is great, meditation also. I used EFT only in my own recovery. Depending where you are in your journey brain retraining (thought redirection, visualisation etc) is helpful too. Working on the source is generally the most effective thing you can do. I have seen clients calm fight or flight after working on a few key events. That can be done with a practitioner who uses a mindbody modality like EFT or EMDR. With clients I use EFT mix of trauma (event work) and emotional release alongside nervous system regulation practices. Mindset, belief work through brain retraining once they're emotionally regulated. Ultimately the most effective self help things are going to be the ones you like and find easy to use and you use consistently. Hope that answers your question.

@@rachelAO Thanks Rachel, really appreciate the response. I had been doing some EFT and it improved a symptom massively, however then it gradually (over a couple of weeks) returned to how it was previously even though I was tapping everyday. Do you know why this may have happened? I guess this shows that I am definitely in fight or flight because meditation had a very similar impact. It just seems really difficult to create a lasting effect of staying out of fight or flight, as though my nervous system is strongly attached to being in fight or flight (it is a bit de-motivating). Thanks again

Thank you so much for doing these videos. I couldn’t find anything like this. Can i ask how you healed from silent reflux and how you navigated through the supplements of medical medium? There’s just so much? Where should one start?
@rachelAO
@rachelAO 27 күн бұрын
Hi! I've got a couple of videos which talk about how to approach MM, supplements etc. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2fHgZ96pL-Eacksi=WHMB6BwZNfC79slI and kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmilqnWjp72sa7csi=HyL1hhynpJl7ajIU and kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGLHn2ikZ8yVj9ksi=ASsj9N_j06TOeuvP. What I've found from my own recovery and those of the people I've coached is that when one condition heals, so do a lot of others. I had reflux which came in my 30's and went - it was caused by stress. I've never had reflux since then. Clients I've had with digestive issues resolve them by focusing on their chronic stress. Because chronic long term stress is a huge component of digestive issues. I hope that helps. All the best in your recovery journey! ❤
