Listening to podcasts such as ‘let’s talk yoga podcast’, searching my local area for a classes run by South Asian teachers (this has been tough 😢). I also have my own personal family story around colonialism/colonisation with my mum being Anglo indian (born in Kolkata) but her family never acknowledging their Indian roots and ancestry 😢 I’ve been deep diving into my family history and somehow yoga has become a part of that (long story 😅).
