When I grind my coffee beans I add dried Ginger cloves star anise fennel seeds. Crushed red pepper flakes, fresh ground black pepper pink Himalayan salt and cardamom and I forgot the coriander 😊😊😊😊

I love your podcast. It's fascinating how food makes us feel, and at the same time, it makes a lot of sense. It is very informative, and just proving that adding a little spice here and there can be not only delicious but also super healthy. Small changes make all the difference 👍👍

Was very surprised recently to find out how many negative impacting heavy metals are in spices & lots of different ones taken often can really add up over time to potentially unhealthy levels. It’s made us reduce the quantity of each regularly but not the variety…

It's a sad state affairs, that human beings have turned this planet into their own trash heap. Contaminating all water sources, the land, and the air. We have lost immense amount of nutrition from our food, and lack of clean, and uncontaminated food. Even organic food is not uncontaminated.😢

Good point! They even can't measure polyphenols in our body, so how we can know if we need them or not. Spices it just for good taste, but they have another side that you mention before like heavy metals.

For a long time I've been brewing my morning coffee with some cardamom in the bottom of the coffee filter, and putting some cacao powder and ecological cinnamon in the cup, drinking all of it. The coffee has a great flavor and I've the gut feeling this is really great and healthy coffee.

Why destroy good coffee? Drink speciality coffee: high in polyphenols and fibre.

in my breakfast mix i use up to 8 spices in half teaspoon amounts, is there any benefit or danger in this.

Blimey, in a study of one thousand, sarah berry can detect those who use sices? Realistically, my nose hase been a reliable diagnostic test since about 1960, age 3.

I love the holistic approach to health on this channel but don't like the appraisal to pharmacology and drugs given the manipulations and dominance of Big Pharma on "medicine" that we have seen for decades now.

I have read many books, I listened to many KZbin videos by many of the world's leading gurus and health experts but nothing came close to the hidden herbs by anette ray. I recommend everyone giving it a read.

So herbs can help for human or not ? Cinnamon can be toxic too same as others herbs. Most diet specialist saying herbs or spices are very healthy, but why some people have issues with stomach.
