I deserve to love and to be love. I'm married to a man whom I don't like. We been together for 24 years and have 2 sons. But lately I meet my teenage love I felt so I love with him. I didn't feel this kind of love before. When we talk lately I have discovered that he love me just like been together before. We been apart for 33 years. But now he is already married and 3 children. We both regrets that we not belong together. It hurts me so much. The disappoinment that hurts me so much. Gladly, that I have learned from the stoic principle's the things that I must do to stand for our moral, self respect, decipline and virtue. I love him so much but I hope someday time will heal us. Thanks to stoicism.

Love is realizing that oneself is not perfect, so is the partner one loves. The trust factor is based on real life actions. Intelligence, compassion and good manners is super important. Forgiveness and good sense of humor are essential. Two people are two words, but if they got a sense of common goal , not based on material things alone , life together will be beautiful till the end.

I love my wife but I have to say that she can be utterly disrespectful to me. So as a man when we are disrespected and not appreciated for what we do its stings to the core of who men are. I make no excuses but when she shows me blatant disrespect and I confront her about it and she doubles down and take no accountability for it, I just shut down and isolate myself.
