If they tie you should go based on speed (direct translation to power) maybe? Also for different weights you could use the theoretical 1RM multiplier to calculate how sets would potentially calculate to a 1RM to differentiate the ties
@StrengthUniverse3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I already calculate the total working output to workout who wins when different weights are involved but such methods do not calculate for difference in form or assistive equipment such as wraps which is very important. Sometimes speed can translate to power but not always as it can also invoke the use of a higher amount of momentum.

@StrengthUniverse3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Bigboys 903lb squat was done with knee wraps so it is not comparable. I couldn't include a flat dumbbell press as this isn't a lift that Larry has done, he only does incline Dumbbell press. I can only compare lifts that both athletes do.

Larry is stronger, no doubt. Big Boy got draws even when he did more weight due to range of motion. If you did follow him during his heavy hitting days, he explained that he was physically unable to do the full range when Lee was pressing the full range in the video. He even tried getting cracked by a chiropractor, also draw on straps versus belt is a bit inaccurate really. The bicep curls, again something Larry trained for significantly compared to Big who went in there and messed around with a Kali. Still he wouldnt win against Larry in the overall but a fair chance he deserved. Big Boy is the naturally stronger person in my opinion. Except on Bench, he got fat to get stronger instead of leaning heavy on the juice which he was taking though but the side effects are pretty much year round for Larry
@jeffking62863 жыл бұрын
The ties should go Big Boys way.....he's doing shorter rom as it helps build bigger muscles as there is constant strain on those muscles compared to "locking out" the joints which does assist in "breathing space" before continuing!!!!!
