How strong is kaido? Kaido is by far one of the most underrated characters in one piece. The top tiers in one piece are often very difficult to scale, so its hard to say who is stronger than who. It seems like something Oda keeps purposely ambigious. So i tried my very best to scale kaido according to the information we have provided. So drop a like and drop a comment if you enjoy!!

Also I agree if it was a 1 v 1 but if it was a battle of crews, Roger and WB’s crews are probably stronger thus it would be Roger and Reyleigh or WB and Marco/Oden (depending on if Oden is still alive at that point) vs Kaido but overall I think Kaido is massively underrated and still held back against Luffy as Kaido’s whole thing was wanting to die but he also believed JB was the only one worthy of defeating him so what if Shanks made Kaido aware of the true power of Luffy’s DF thus he held back so he could both awaken JB and be defeated by JB thus fulfilling his desire of dying but also Kaido was a JB candidate so what if he wanted JB to awaken as he once wanted to be JB

Theres no way another Yonkou mid diff another Yonkou unless you're talking about buggy. this is the same case if a yonkou fights Pirate King it will be extreme diff. Kaido only lost because he decided to run face-first into a giant fist he could have easily dodged. At this point, he had the fight well into his hand, and G5 Luffy was getting desperate. Luffy lost his gamble when Kaido burned his hand off him, but Kaido chose not to take the victory now in front of him and agreed to end this with a contest of brute strength.

Also I want to say About Kaido Intense No Hellish Durability. And the most Logical way I can explain is through Haki. Kaido can only be Bled by using Advance Conquers' Haki Infuse in the body ( which I like to call it Conquers' Armor) with Ryou Haki aka Advance Armament Haki. Because with Armament Haki or Ryou Haki Alone as Luffy Stated "He did Took Damage Yet it is Too shallow". And let's not forget how Muscular and Gigantic he Truly is, he is Way more Tankier than a Muscular Russian Soldier in a Bulletproof vest. So doing the Math Kaido has Muscular skin with Conquers' Armor to add more to his Strength. And Oden, Luffy, and Zoro were able to make him Bleed out. And so it's like the Swords Enma Has Conquers' Haki which gives it more Armor Penetration with the overall Ryou Haki within the User that is how aoden and Zoro were able to slice him. And as the case for Luffy he has is own Strength with Conquers' Armor and Ryou haki punches Kaido through his Conquers' Armor and through his own Physical Body to make him Cough blood and feel true pain. It's like Luffy is Wearing a gauntlet with Knuckle Brass in order to punch Large Muscular Kaido wearing Iron Armor.

I think Kaido had his title after Rocky Valley. I think he got it becuase he's not a human he's an Oni so they labeled him a creature and when he got his devil fruit he was also turned into an even far worse creature a Dragon. Dragon's used to cause chaos around the world and oni's. I think WB still had his World Strongest Man Title and was still known to be strongest prior to Kaido eating his fruit and during the present time he still held the title. I think Kaido became stronger than WB when WB's helath started to decline and when he got sick. I don't think Kaido got his bet on him 1 v 1 title until the great pirate era until Roger died. I think the god valley to Roger death people Kaido had time to train/fight and get stronger. During Rock's days he was a strong apprentice but was on the lower end of the top tier list compared to now. After Gody Valley Kaido was still not a factor it was Big Mom, Shiki, and WB who held their weight as Roger was going on his tear. I don't think in the past era he was beating Big Mom, Shiki, etc, and during the edd war time period. I think he was still too weak back then but he was still known as the strongest creature and as a strong pirate on the rise. Like the WG knew one day he would stand at the pinnacle when he came into his prime. Many of his crewmates probably did too. I think Prime Kaido has surpassed majority of his former crew but I don't think he surpassed Prime WB or Xebec I think those two are still in a league ahead.

I hate power scaling but Roger and Whitebeard are both more powerful AND have stronger haki than Kaido. This isn't even headcanon because we have the perfect scaling vehicle with Kozuki Oden. Kaido is already established to be on Oden's level. Plus, if it wasn't for third-party intervention, Oden would have won and Kaido knows it. Moreover, we know that, while a beast, Oden is not a much of a menace as Roger and Whitebeard. Roger folded Oden in one attack. Also it is heavily implied that Kaido even lost or tied with the Red Haired Pirates during Summit War. That's why it was Shanks that pulled up to Marineford, and not Kaido.

Yeah KAIDO is a Character similar to Yujiro in Baki as a character. Who wants to be the strongest and by doing so proves he has a the Main Philosophy that "The Strong Lives and the Weak Perish". and that is why he discriminate people who are weaker than him and respect the ones he knew that are really stronger than him. Such as Roger, Xebec, Edward, Oden, and Shanks and then ask Luffy "Are You one of those Men?" And at the Beginning he disrespects Luffy because he got one shot, and during the BATTLE Kaido Slowly respects Luffy as a Strong Pirate because he feels the Challenge of Surpassing the Opponent by there full power. Kaido underestimated? haha no. But he faced the worst person in One Piece aside of Shanks or Dragon or IMU. However. Current Luffy now after Wano is still not 100% power of Kaido. Luffy is now at 85-90% of Kaido in total. Although Luffy's attack power did already prove to be stronger than that of Kaido. that is 100% certain. But people miss out the fact that Luffy had to grow 300%+ through Wano war to become 85-90% of Kaido's total power. Luffy gained massive Haki powerups allround, God level CoC haki, Ryou and Gear 5. And with this I have already given the answer to what would happen if a fresh Kaido now would fight a fresh Luffy. Luffy now is 90% of Kaido's total power. But Luffy will absolutely bridge this difference of power in this fight. Kaido will 100% lose. Luffy has also bridged his gap of power with Katakuri, and other major bossfight enemies. Luffy will therefor win, despite him being 85-90% of Kaido's total power. In this new fresh fight, Luffy would come out victorious and become 120% of Kaido's power. This is 100% based on all the boss fights Luffy consistently had before.

90% of Kaido's strength?? Luffy still have a lot to improve. Don't think that a 2 years journey will equal 50 years of fighting experience. Kaido fought through the whole night meanwhile luffy was getting wrecked and resting here and there. Also, Kaido is more stronger than shown. Otherwise him dreaming of taking over this world is delusional as hell for a calculated man like Kaido. Kaido will definitely face Joyboy if he ever appears in real time.

Prime healthy kaido would go trhough g5 luffy at least twice and would still defeat him Kaido is at least 2.5x times steonger overall than luffy g5 mainly due to stamina. G5 luffy has durability but lacks in the stamina and endurance department alot he gets easily outclassed by top 5 in the op world

Gonna have to disagree on this one, kaido wasn't introduced as "WSC" with narrator box. So i don't know how much that title holds credibility and after reading Shanks's new spoilers, i doubt kaido is beating shanks. Never believed kaido could. I agree kaido will lose to Roger and WB(prime) in a High-extreme diff fight.

Kaido has all advanced haki with one of the strongest devil fruits plus his extremely durable skin/body where only advanced CoC can hurt him. Shanks only showed strong CoC haki not even advanced and you straight said up said Kaido would never beat shanks? Luffy defeated Kaido through team efforts until Kaido was weakened then Luffy can 1 v 1 Kaido and still almost got killed by Kaido again even with gear 5. Kaido defeated luffy 2 times and killed Luffy 1 time ffs. Oda must have been brainstorming ideas on how Luffy can defeat Kaido and finally plot armour came saying Luffy devil fruits is god zoan.

They underestimate Kaido in part because Oda supported that idea in a certain way by nerfing him. Zoro should never have scarred Kaido, the Red Scabbards shouldn't have cut him either, but of course Zoro's fanservice scarring Kaido was better, so Oda nerfed Kaido by decreasing the hardness of the skin. If we stick to Kaido's introduction and even the list of top characters he has, it doesn't make any sense for Zoro to cut Kaido. Therein lies one of the problems. They also underestimate him because of Zoro's fanservice, Mihawk and Shanks, they want to see these two as stronger and consequently Zoro. Following the line of the nerf, Luffy should not have won either, without forgetting that Kaido did not use awakening. I added that Kaido used the hybrid form very quickly. In my opinion, Kaido should have been defeated 2v1, a Marco and Luffy vs. Kaido for example, but Zoro definitely shouldn't have been there, nor should Luffy have defeated him alone, as seen. I think very similar to you, only that I see Sirohige and Roger, almost a level ahead of Kaido if they are 100, Kaido is 80 or 85.

@@D.Strawhat Kaido's introduction poses a character that could only be hurt by someone with a minimum level, a high Admiral or a Yonkou, even to make small cuts, the introduction itself tells us about a small handful of characters. Then Kaido himself mentions five candidates, all with cutting weapons, and does it seriously seem coherent to you that Zoro cut him and even make him a scar? It may be irrelevant but he did it. Zoro even post King is not even the shadow of Kaido's top five characters, if a scar did not occur with Roger or Shanks, it should not have happened with Zoro either. It's simple, Zoro only cut him because of the fanservice, and Oda's favoritism, that's all, what I said maybe you don't like because maybe you feel that it detracts from Zoro and you like the character, but it's something that happens in the fandom and with the series, it sounds bad, but it is so. They underestimate Kaido for the reasons I already said. Zoro, Mihawk, Shanks, fanservice, all of that. Kaido was nerfed, so Zoro could scar him.
