In many of his earlier videos he's training with Giannis Stoforidis who was a World Champion Kickboxer, and Grizzle seems to be teaching him the ropes in the gym(A World Champion fighter isn't going to train with some nobody). Kyriakos also seems to have boxing skills as he's shown handwork before as well. He also was claimed to have been in Strongman/Olympics, but I cannot say for sure.

I used to work labour hire, stuff like unloading shipping containers by hand. I was a big dude in decent shape, but I didn't lift and I wasn't super fit. One guy I worked with a few times, gym bro. Half a decade younger than me, definitely looked much fitter and musclier. He worked pretty well, and commented that most of his gym buddies wouldn't survive half a shift with us. Other guy I worked with quite a lot: skinny little dude, legit half my size and probably two decades older than me. He ran rings around me and the gym bro, no worries. Way stronger than he looked, very efficient, and he just didn't get tired. Fair to say I learned some things about body types and functional strength.

@@patheddles4004 This. The body is infinitely (well not really, but you get the gist) malleable and adaptable, and if it gets trained to do specific moves well.... well, it will do them well, regardless (relatively speaking) of muscle mass. In my gym days, I knew a middle-age guy who used to work as a music equipment handler (loading, unloading, setting up on stage, taking things down quickly and efficiently afterwards etc). His training regime was for at least half the time he was in the gym to simply put his arms out at the height of his waist, we would stick as many weights in a weight plate tower so as not to affect balance. He would simply take the whole tower for a stroll around the gym, including (yes) stairs. He was extremely effective on that because he used to load/unload amps and consoles and equipment day in day out. The rest of the gym just knew to stay out of the way and we were all "oh, George is taking the weights for a walk". Fun times.
@Night_Hawk_4757 ай бұрын
Given how much whole-body momentum goes into starting each movement - I feel like this is an exercise that favors higher total body weight a lot more than most other exercises. Your strength is out of this world brother 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 I’ve lifted up to 1,400lbs and struggled, but you make 1,786 look too easy 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 I need your type of training. You make those two strong men in your video look like average Joe’s and I know those are two strong men.lol
