In the very beginning I would like to say that my answer is based on the most authentic book which is Critical edition of Mb by Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute. Please do refer the above book. Below are Karna's defeats -: • Before Kurukshetra War. 1. By Bhima in the Rajsuya Yagya Conquest of Pandavas. 2. By Ghandharva leader Chitrasena near Dwaipayana lake when Pandavas were facing exile after the Dice incident. 3. By Arjuna in Virata War. 4 times. Twice in 1on1 battle and twice in group attack where Arjuna was alone. Kurukshetra War..... 1. By Abhimanyu on 13th day. 2 times. Both the time in 1on1. 2. By Bhima on 14th day. 5 times. Twice in 1on1 and thrice in group attack where Bhima was almost alone. 3. By Arjuna on 14th day. 2 times. Twice in 1on1. 4. Once by Satyaki in a 1on1 on 14th day. Later Satyaki spared Karna's life due to the vow of Arjuna. 5. Once by Ghatotkacha on 14th night. 6. Once by Arjuna in 1on1 on 14th night. 7. Once by Bhima in 1on1 on 17th day. 8. Once by Arjuna in 1on1 on 17th day. Later Partha beheaded him in this big battle. Final Result -: Karna lost to many warriors and many of them defeated him more than once. मैं खुद ST से हूं पर ये कर्ण को आवश्यकता से अधिक Glorify कर दिया गया है, पहली बात तो कर्ण के पहले गुरु द्रोणाचार्य और कृपाचार्य ही थे और इसको भी करवों और पांडवों के साथ ही ज्ञान मिला था। गुरु द्रोणाचार्य ने कर्ण को सम्पूर्ण धनुर्विद्या का ज्ञान दिया था, केवल दिव्य अस्त्रों का ज्ञान देने से मना किया था, क्यूं की कर्ण अर्जुन से अत्यधिक ईर्षा करता था, और वो दिव्य अस्त्रों का उपयोग अर्जुन पर कर सकता था जब की यह नियम के विरुद्ध है, अपने निजी स्वार्थ के लिए किसी को भी दिव्य अस्त्रों का उपयोग भी करना चाहिए।

Understand this guys, do not see or judge like a mortal ! The Lord is not human. What Sadhguru is trying to say, is that Lord Krishna is getting rid of Arjuna’s prime on his superiority on his Archery. Arjuna was an expansion of Lord himself. No leaf on any tree can move without the wish of Lord Krishna.

But those are godly weapon not meant for world wars because they can destroy entire world. Karna never asked for Vaishavi Astra , Indra himself only gave it to him in return of his kavach . If Lord Indra was so fond of Karna's donations, Why did Lord Indra make a condition that the 'vaisavi shakti' astra can only be used by just one time, and not many times? Because Karna demanded that astra as a substitute for kawach kundal, for which Indra denied first, but after insisting by Karna, Indra put forth his conditions of using that astra only one time. A. If Lord Indra was so insecured about his son Arjuna, why did Lord Indra gave his 'vaisavi shakti' astra to Karna? If Indra already knew that Karna would use that 'vaisavi shakti' to kill Arjuna, then Indra would be the most STUPIDEST father in the entire Dwapar Yuga, who in spite of saving his son, giving the power to his son's enemy. Obviously it was NOT any 'aashirvaad' by Indra. Oh please, let's remember the battle of virat when Karna fled the battlefield after being severely injured at the hands of Arjuna. Arjuna's charioteer was Uttara who is not even 16 years old or the time when Karna was not able to protect his dear friend Duryodhana from the gandharavas and gandharva king Chitrasena. It was Arjuna who defeated Chitrasena and rescued Duryodhana. Fast-forward to the Kuruksetra war when Abhimanyu was in the chakravyuh, and he did the same as his father did, and remember the time when Bheema threw a spear at Karna which penetrated his body and reached the other end of the body, when Bheema was about to cut Karna's tongue because he spoke ill of Panchali or remember the time when Satyuki completely dominated Karna in the Kurukshetra war.
