Masaki might’ve not been Isshin’s level in reiatsu but she very likely would be eventually. And Uryu’s unnaturally hogh growth wasn’t just Yhwach’s influence, he had that potential in him coming from a line of nobles

I think she's surpasses a fukutaichō for sure. She's probably on low captain level. However, we need to remember something: considering she oneshooted White in her younger days (I don't think it was so simple to trespass his hierro), there was room for improvement on the late years. And seems like she improved, considering Isshin's words about how easily she would ended Grand Fisher if wasn't Yhwach. Interesting fact: her great power would be one good reason why Uryuu's grandmother was SO desperate with the marriage with Ryuuken.

Aizen himself said it wasn't even Captain shikai level and called it a failure. It may resemble a vasto, but it doesn't mean it is vasto level. Aizen couldn't even create arrancars correctly until sometime in the arrancar arc. I doubt he was able to create vastos at this point in time, especially without the hogyoku.

Karin and Yuzu are Hybrid (Soul Reaper and Quincy) but Karin and Yuzu has never been developed their powers yet. For Karin it’s seems to take more after her Father Isshin and more toughness like Ichigo thus Shinigami/Soul Reaper side. As for Yuzu, she has some awareness, she more takes after her mother Masaki thus Quincy side. Because both Karin and Yuzu need jumpstart in order to unlocked theirs powers just like Ichigo did. It’s the same thing that Ichigo has to go through tough training with Kisuke Urahara and gone through whole soul chain, and then unlocking his Quincy power while trap in Quilge’s cage. Karin originally more than Yuzu, but even Yuzu has some awareness that she can sense them still. It’s seems like Yuzu is tilted more to towards quincy, so her shinigami powers are less on the surface, thus she gets less, since for both of them, quincy powers are completely sealed, and it's some shinigami powers leaking through to give them some awareness. Karin seems to be tilted more to the shinigami side, thus more awareness. He didn’t just suddenly wake up and get a Zanpakuto and the Blue Vena I still believe that Karin has potential to unlock her powers, and I 100% still think Karin should unlock Shinigami powers. I still believe that Yuzu has potential to unlocked her Quincy Powers, and I 100% still believe that Yuzu should unlock Powers of the Quincy

The hollow that killed Masaki wasn't THAT strong. She died because of Yhwach.

I get that the story needed to grow but that always felt like such a glaring plot hole and uncomfortably contrived, it went from… “Sometimes hollows are responsible for tragedies, turns out your mom was killed by one, so you better have a good reason to protect people from hollows if you don’t want it to happen to others…” To “Oh kingfisher killed you mom, who turns out to be a level 5 scrub, but your mom and dad were actually both super powerful, so it was actually a really lucky break he attacked her when dad was out of the house and it was right at the time when grampa (who’s also satan) woke up from a 1000 year nap and stripped her powers that exact moment…
