For once I don't feel alone when trying to fight this disease. These videos help a lot especially due my vegetarian diet
@mutzireitz41232 жыл бұрын
Since may 3rd I have lost 16 pds as of June 1,2022 on the mediterrean diet. I began incorporating chia seeds once weekly, spinach salad once daily, cabbage soup once daily, a sprinkle of a few nuts and seeds on my salad along with various raw veggies as cucumber, zucchini, radishes, small carrot, celery and like having a plum, peach or a whole cut up apple in my salad. I do not crave sweets at all and have not had any sugar the last two months. Being type 2 diabetic the last 40 years, this is the healthiest I have eaten and my insulin intake dropped 20 units. I have incorporated all you have suggested and am satisfied. Please continue to teach me about the food I eat. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your information with us. Wish there were more Diabetic friendly doctors like you around. Most of the Endocrinologists just want to prescribe medications and very seldom suggest life style changes, such as diet and exercise. I am now learning from your videos on a daily basis. My blood sugar levels are decreasing by following your suggestions and following your videos. Thanks to you, I am now slowly weaning my diabetic medications and feeling better every day.

What about sardines? Packed in olive oil and whole (with skin & bones)... I love "ACVade" apple cider vinegar + water + stevia + various spices (such as cayenne or cinnamon) + optional lemon juice
@suoppsdn97513 жыл бұрын
Spinach and kale are two of the best greens for all kinds of health problems, but you have to eat it religiously. Every meal and as snacks as well. It's best to eat it as a salad with cucumbers, a healthy fatty meat like grilled Salmon, Boiled Eggs slices, Peanuts, onions sliced, use pickle juice as a salad dressing that is made with Apple cider Vinegar, but any vinegar will do though. You can add just about any of the Vegetables or greens spoken by SugarMD to add to your salads. I wouldn't worry too much about the Cholesterol content of Eggs. Let me give you a little secret about Cholesterol. Your liver produces Cholesterol, but it also gets rid of excess Cholesterol through the bile ducts. You may ask if the liver gets rid of excess Cholesterol why do we even get high Cholesterol? OK when the bile is released into the digestion system it is suppose to be carried out with the stool, but it can be reabsorbed back into the system "Body" if not taken out with the stool. Soluble fiber is the fiber that turns into a gel like substance in the body that actually captures a lot of toxins including Cholesterol that the liver gets rid of; it pretty much wraps itself around Cholesterol and other toxins and moves it out with the stool. if we want to eat greens then Green beans has Soluble fiber and has a natural insulin in them as well, but asparagus does as well and has a PH of 8.5 This is good for people with type 2 diabetes because 9 out of 10 times your body is too acidic is the reason you have type 2 diabetes begin with so with asparagus you kill 2 birds with one stone.

I fast every day for 18 hours and have no hunger issues. I eat every day at 3 pm to 6 pm (mostly huge mixed salad and a bit of fish, chicken and steamed fresh or frozen vegetables or home-made stew or starch-free soup with lots of herbs) and go to bed with vitamin D at 8 or 9 oclock. I awaken at 4 or 5 AM for prayer and meditation while it's quiet before the family gets up. Happy healthy day y'all! I make a 1/2 gallon of water with a ⅛ to ¼ cup of ACV and ½ to 1 teaspoon of pink salt and sip on it all day. It is my key to hunger-free fasting!

I am a snacker. I have found that baby carrots are perfect for snacking, at least for me. They are crunchy and a little sweet, making it a perfect snack replacement. I go through about 4lbs a week, and buy them in the 2lb bags. Each 2lb bag is only about 300 calories; 70 gross carbs, and only 45 or so net carbs.

I like the Mediterranean diet, but of course without all the bread. I do need to eat more fish. In my home eating healthy isn’t always easy because I have a granddaughter that moved in with me that doesn’t like healthy foods. I’m gradually trying to get her to eat more veggies and salads. Fixing different meals isn’t always easy. My husband as well doesn’t like some healthy choices either., but I won’t give up eating healthy. Thank you Dr. for all the useful informational. You videos are greatly appreciated!

You’re doing better than me. I crave sweets 24/7! 😂🤣 But when my A1c went from a 6.2 to 6.9 in one year, putting me into the type 2 diabetic stage, I eliminated the rest of the sugary items I still ate, cold turkey. I had already reduced sugars and simple carbs substantially (I use monk fruit sweetener at home) and lost about 10lbs, but my A1c still went up! 😢 I sat down and wrote down things I still ate that spiked my blood sugar and eliminated completely, things like tortilla chips, crackers, sweet potatoes, occasional pasta, the occasional candy bar, and even the little sugary breath mints you get as you’re leaving a restaurant. Cheers!

Hello Dr . You Are the best in the World . This video is the best . I have been following you and from 160 mg/ dl blood sugar glucose I dropped it to 102 mg/ dl in only one month and lost 10 cm in my waist line . You are the best and helped me reverse the diabetics in one month . Everything you said I did thoroughly . I am very happy that I found you . I am starting to normalize my blood sugar glucose and keep in under control just like it was in 2019 before the Pandemic . During the Pandemic from March 2020 to a month a ho July 2022 I became 3 rd degree obese with 200 lbs weight and 160mg/ dl . I wrote down everything you said and It worked practically . My objective is to lose 25 Kg in the next 6 months and keep everything under control . I am very grateful to you . You are amazing . I am 69 years old . Thank you so much , I appreciate it . Have a fabulous day and May God bless you always 👍❤️

You made me feel good because the foods you listed are pretty much what I eat, except that I just don't like fish (except canned tuna) or avocados. The suggestion of using avocado oil on occasion is one that I will try to use, as I use EVOO almost exclusively. I need to make a concerted effort to use more cinnamon and turmeric, but I like both of those, so it shouldn't be difficult; I just have to remember. Thanks for the information.
