@@sergeykish Nowhere near enough. Take the tax rate, a person pays around the same base percentage as a corp, but the corp gets to deduct all sorts of operating expenses. In contrast, people don't get to deduct any operating expenses. That's not accounting for the amount of money corps squirrel away in foreign tax havens. Not to mention, every single one of these corps get massive government contracts of extremely dubious value to the tax payer. Quite literally, companies pay next to no tax.

Oh it's not gonna stop it will speed up change. On my country it's expected that by 2035 about 80% people in it will loose job to ai and about 40% in various other fields. Even my local IRS is already using ai and training custom models to replace people so good luck to everyone.

Nuclear power plants should not be considered environmentally unfriendly. They do not produce any CO2 during operation, making them far more eco-friendly than coal or gas power plants. While there are challenges related to radioactive waste management and uranium mining, nuclear energy deserves a fair assessment for its role in combating climate change. I am not considering catastrophic events in this evaluation, as they are rare and more related to human factors and safety protocols than regular operation.

This is the real reason why they want households to lower their energy usage, especially during the summer. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a way of lowering the average age of retirees over the next 4-5 years- the ones that basically get to watch tv all day and run an expensive air conditioning.
