I'd point you to wooting's reply, but I am lazy, so essentially: tapping 2 buttons at once is easier than pressing them alternatingly. usually for double tapping you get punished by the accuracy drop But using DKS allows to change "physical" double tapping into "digital" alternating presses, thus making the game a lot easier.

In my opinion, if you don't think wooting's rapid trigger function is cheating, then this isn't cheating either. Most people do not understand the method that was being used here. What he did was, he made it so that when the Z key was released, that would register a Z in the game. Then he made it so that when the X key was pressed, that would register a X in the game. This means, if you pressed both Z and X at the same time on your keyboard, then released them both at the same time, an X would be registered during the press motion, and a Z would be registered during the release motion. People claim that this is an "unfair advantage", but isn't rapid trigger an unfair advantage too?

Yeah except he sets the Z key to deactivate after 63ms. If he just left it at "Z activates upon release" and "X activates upon key press", that would mean leaving the Z key untouched would technically work the same as the X key being held down. This playstyle wouldn't work because just holding down a key would still click the slidercircles too early. Cloutiful basically just circumvented this by setting the Z key to deactivate after 63ms via the DKS feature, enabling him to doubletap while still maintaining accuracy due to the alternate timing as a result of reversing the activation point, and while also preventing the consequences of reversing it. That's where the problem lies.
