I also thought it weird he wasn't burnt after the explosion. If he had covered himself with his cape that would have made more sense. His cape could be fire proof and used as an extra practical tool. And explain why his front half not covered in blood

I thought it would've been neat if Riddler changed the timer from 10 seconds straight to 1 second or something so that Batman didn't have time to run away. Would've made a bit more sense.

To be fair, when Colson blows up he puts his arms up in time to block his face... His suit is bulletproof it seems so I feel it's safe to assume it's fireproof as well. I had a problem with it the first time, but I see now

it is impossible for any armor to withstand an explosion at that distance, not to mention that it is completely unrealistic for the suit to withstand all the shots and explosions without suffering any kind of damage, especially when the director explicitly said that he wanted the movie to be realistic xD

What he said was that(like all of his previous films such as clover field and planet of the apes) there is 1 fantastical element and everything surrounding that is grounded. That’s what he means. Like Cloverfield was about a monster that was hundreds of feet tall but is grounded because you view it from the perspective of everything else being normal. Batman is the same way. Batman is the fantastical element here.

The reason Batman doesn't get the final riddle at the end is because, when going through the evidence, he suddenly get the sense that Riddler figured out his identity. That distract him, especially since not long after, riddler ask to see him from Arkham. So Batman interrupts his investigation, fully believing his time as Batman is at an end.

The Batman truly is a cinema masterpiece, but so glad hishe made their version much more fun to watch. Almost been two years they made a Robert Pattinson content video, which my question has been answered that hishe’s episode of the camera test reveal of the Batman’s animation looked more like hishe’s Batman and their episode of the Batman have the accurate animation of Pattinson. And quite interesting that Pattinson’s voice sounds more like hishe’s Batman, which is proven they both have the badass voices that are better than Christian bale’s Batman voice.

The HISHE team definitely used to take their content seriously, as they would watch the film multiple times before working on a video. Whether or not they still do that type of research, I don’t know. Regardless, the video itself acknowledges these as legitimate criticisms, they even point them out as things they wondered about while watching the movie. Even other comments point out how some of these plot holes can be explained. Saying “they are just jokes, not legitimate criticisms” is just an excuse.

I just realised, if Riddler's plan was to kill Bruce Wayne, but he knew Batman was Bruce Wayne, then why did he say he planned on them both watching it all go down in the jail? When Batman went in there Riddler said he was the same as him and wanted them to watch it together, but he tried to kill Bruce with the letter-bomb... I think this movie has a few more holes than I initially thought, and I thought it had a lot lmao

Because Riddler didn't actually know that Bruce is batman. That's why he said that he got everyone other than Bruce Wayne and him and batman could take him down together. The way he was saying "Bruuucee Waaayne" made it seem like he knew Bruce was batman and even batman at that point was terrified about his identity getting revealed, that's why he took a glance at the camera to see if it was working or not. And u can clearly see the signs of relief on his face when Riddler said that him and batman can take Bruce down together, because then he was relieved to know that Riddler didn't actually know about his identity.

And he definitely knew he was Bruce, he talked about them both being orphans and spoke directly to Batman about it. To me, it seems that the script got changed, because the whole third act felt completely different to the rest of the movie and in my opinion was really a let down. I think the original idea was to have Riddler's goal be to unmask Batman, and then they changed it, probably because it was so similar to Spiderman No Way Home or something.

@@a.m11558 watch the interaction between batman and Riddler at Arkham. U would find all your answers. When he was talking to batman, he was referring to Bruce Wayne as "Bruce" and not "you". For example: He said "everyone remembers Bruce Wayne as the orphan". He could have said "everyone remembers you as the orphan". But he says Bruce Wayne, indicating that he didn't know that he was actually speaking to Bruce wayne directly. And he also said that he thought of batman as his friend. He wanted batman to help him kill Bruce Wayne. And when Bruce would be dead, him and batman can watch Gotham in terror while sitting in Arkham together. He never said that him and batman were the same. He said that him and Bruce wayne were the same. He was just talking to batman about the fact that despite him and Bruce both being orphans, he suffered more than Bruce. For a moment, batman himself was afraid whether Riddler knows his true identity or not. That's why he looks at the camera to see if it's recording. And he was relieved when he finally found out that Riddler didn't actually know his identity.

I dont know who this comment is for but, Martinez wasnt in the Riddler's apartment at the time Batman discovered the cage that had the card with the tool attached to it. None of them knew what the tool was really used for. They just knew it was the murder weapon. So when Martinez later tells Batman what the tool actually is, Batman puts two and two together and uses it on the carpet in the apartment. This probably wasnt needed but oh well......................Lol.
