In hindsight, maybe George should have finalized the Clone Wars we got years before he revealed it to us.

It would’ve drastically changed a lot of old EU content, but it would also open up more “accurate” creative works from these authors

2003 clone wars for me i always preferred how conflicts were depicted in the EU in general just these massive complex full scale wars that leave plenty of room to look at the battle from different angles in other mediums like games or books which kinda contrasts how the new clone wars portrayed it sure they had their big battles but it was almost always boiled down to singular simplistic goals which never clicked with me as an adult with an understanding of how warfare generally works especially in terms of that specific war of two almost completely manufactured armies in this universe that possesses uncountable populations spanning an entire galaxy small scale fights with small specific goals only worked for the galactic civil war as that is how guerilla warfare works. All that aside i always had the head canon that the clone wars was actually a far greater shit show than we could even properly depict looking more like warfare in the old republic era just enlisted man, jedi and droid all being fully utilized but you also have people on every level on both sides of the war even entire squads or bigger being replaced by clones it got so chaotic it pushed many jedi to madness or making horrible decisions as a psudo pacifistic wizard monk is prone to doing when they've suddenly been put into a leader ship role leading to their inevitable genocide

And TCW contradicts a lot of things in Legends, despite the fact that it's great and some of the best Star Wars content ever.

@@trevturp6891 agreed, it is more like the begining of canon
