The production value of your videos is always through the roof, it's a mystery to me that you don't get more views..

Thanks, Myosos. I'm really happy you appreciate the production value of the videos, it's always nice to hear! As long as those who see the videos enjoy them, I'm happy. Although with that being said it would be great to be able to share them to a wider audience, so if you know of anyone who may enjoy my videos please do send them my way!

Great video Graham. I’m from Leicester, had a Eunos Roadster in my 20’s, love Delorean’s and enjoy making videos about cars with my brother! Small world 😂

Thanks, Richard. I hope you enjoyed the video. Regarding the VX220, unfortunately you are quite correct. It was involved in a fairly severe incident a while back. After the lockdown ends my brother and I are going to make a short video to explain the fate of the car.

@@AveragetoPoor Just discovered your videos and going through them, really well done, you should have at least a million subscribers ;-) I have an NA MX5 as well, great cars. I'm going to try and make a few films of my cars, wont be as good as yours though! Keep up the good work.

Got cruise control? 😂 Nah but you guys make incredible content. It’s soooo fucking good. Probably my new fav channel. The folk tale could have been shortened but other than that, perfection of editing, style, narrating, footage, etc!

Haha damn I wish! Thank-you so much for your kind words, I'm so happy you like the content. And thank-you for the feedback on the folk tale at the end, it's always useful to know how individual items in the videos are received, I'll definitely take it into account for the next travel series.

Excellent work there! Two thumbs up for the DeLorean review. This must be the first DeLorean story I’ve seen or read that refrains from using the "c-word"... the one that Eric Clapton wrote a song about! 😜 Greetings to all DeLorean owners out there! VIN #16359
@AveragetoPoor4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'm really pleased you enjoyed the DeLorean story. Fortunately I managed to refrain from mentioning a certain white powder throughout the episode haha! I felt really that the scandal angle of the DeLorean story has been so widely and well covered I wanted to talk about how the car affected the lives of the local Northern Irish 'regular folk' instead, as they are so often overlooked for the glitz, glamour and drama of John Delorean's lifestyle and demise. One thing I should've mentioned at the end of the story is how, in my opinion, the DeLorean is perhaps one of the best 'feel good cars' ever made. When you're around one you just can't help but be excited and elated to see it, an effect it seems to have on everyone from young children to older generations. When it was parked up folks couldn't help but stop and enjoy its presence. Congratulations on owning such a special car!

ahhhh it would break my heart leaving my NA on a ferry covered in salt water :(
@AveragetoPoor4 жыл бұрын
It was quite a shock when we boarded the ferry and realised our lovely clean car was going to be left exposed to the elements over night! The one advantage of the torrential rain we were later met with was that it washed off all the salt.

Great video, I’ve been looking forward to watching this series after watching the Scotland tour series. My friends and I did a the Scotland NC500 tour last September, next year we’re planning to go back but will be interested to see what Ireland’s roads look like instead!
@AveragetoPoor4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Dane! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Episode 2 and 3 showcase more of Ireland's driving roads, and in episode 3 we find what is perhaps the best driving road we've ever experienced. Hopefully the series will help give you a good comparison to the brilliant NC500.

Graham Borrajo Great stuff, I look forward to it! My mates have got faster cars than I have (Honda S2000, Caterham 7, EP3 Civic Type R) so I’ll be trying to keep up in my TF 160 😂. Although I am looking to get a Lotus Elise S1 or early S2 at some point next year! Providing I still have a job with the current climate...
@AveragetoPoor4 жыл бұрын
That is quite a variety of cars haha! Hopefully it'll just mean you get to enjoy driving your TF on the limit more than they can with their cars. All the best with getting yourself an Elise next year, I must say I think the Lotus Elise may be the ultimate car for the NC500, the VX220 was just so engaging on those twisty roads.

It wasn't until I visited the Giant's Causeway that I realised it was the same geological structures as the Organ Pipes near Melbourne. Both are beautiful spots, but the Organ Pipes have far less visitors. Last time I was there (in my BRG NA6), I had the place virtually to myself.

Very well made video. So nice to see the DeLorean car and story getting some attention. I own a 5 speed manual delorean and it just runs so much better than the automatic one and is actually a lot faster. Have tried both manual and automatic and manual is the only right way if you want a DeLorean. With 130hp and only 3 gear, it dies, but with 5 speed manuel, its stil not fast but i will not say it slow for a 80 car.
@AveragetoPoor4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Ronnie. I'm pleased you enjoyed the video. I can absolutely imagine a manual gearbox must be a huge step up over the early 80s automatic transmission. It must make the car a whole lot more engaging and enjoyable as a driving machine. I expect with a longer final gear it also improves the DeLorean's credentials as a GT car too.

One day subaru vivio like vehicles could be made from ireland for ireland along with other countrys where people struggle for cars
@georgebarnes81633 жыл бұрын
Not in Ireland, the Irish only drive budget cars due to the massive road tax and insurance costs in Ireland.
