6:16 actually a better way to do it is to just run up and down the stairs when u enter the sewers until u get ur encounter. Because ur rival is waiting for u at the bottom of the stairs and if u run up and down the stairs pokemon will still appear so instead of buying repels u should just run up and down the stairs to get ur encounter and then meet ur rival at the bottom of the stairs

I don't even do nuzlock or difficulty hacks but I almost always play pokemon emulator games with cheats. I got bored of it at some point and managed to beat fire red without cheats. But God the grinding sucked. I refused to use the 6 Rare candies I had until the elite 4 to get my team to level 70.

One thing that should be remembered though, is that by using this method, you can lose out on EVs. To be fair, unless it is an insanely difficult mod/challenge, min-maxing by optimizing EVs is kind of unnecessary. But it can be the deciding factor.

Why call it a Nuzlocke speedrun if it's not a Nuzlocke? Only being able to catch the first encounter is one of the biggest restrictions.

ill agree with the electric type being mostly useless, not because electric moves are bad, but 99 times out of 100, grass will work effectively against water as well and grass presents more of a use due to being good against ground and rock as well. depending on what the supporting types are, having the ability to be able to limit ground and rock damage in a lot of scendarios is excellent too. and to the defense counter of electric type only having 1 type weakness, id argue that the value that whatever second type grass comes with is usually more usefull in many situations than whatever electric has to present. ludicolo, execcutor, abomasnow, jumpluff; all of them more trustworthy IMO than any electric types really. even lower stat grass types (<500 base) like shiftry, cacturne, breloom and victreebel;very reliable and all of them fairly fun to play.

Stunktank is a bad encounter because it has a limited move pool and also it’s a stinky boi. Edit: FUCK.
