Does anybody whose played pokemon clover know what pokemon would be similar to Dedwheat or Sprucifex, also Caroline. Those are my core team. Sprucifex has curse and inverse room with regenerator, he swaps out for Dedwheat who has swap skills with truant, rest, and protect. Sprucifex can also turn others into grass types which Caroline finishes off. It's been my first and only pokemon game besides Emerald Rogue and a little bit of infinite fusion. I'm looking to build a team comparable in the actual titles at some point.

If there is a strong Pokémon that I plan on keeping alive in the Nuzlock that dies, I would have a legendary (Legendary, Sub-Legendary, Mythical, Ultra Beast, Paradox) to take its place (pseudolegendary can’t be brought back along with other legendary types). Ultra Beast would be like only one within USUM since the warp ride and SM would already have the encounter used and Paradox would be limited as well since in the final area

I Love Gyarados ever since I lay my kid eyes on it. The coolest the scariest the best Water type Pokemon! :)) Always loved it. Its the Leviathan of the deeps. Has the coolest lore and based on chinese Dragon. It can be a good Dragon killer as it has no Dragon typing like CHarizard mega get, and using Ice beam and dragon moves that can be great against dragons exp when u dealing Cynthia's Garchomp that dragon ground which Gyarados should be able to handle. Water is stronger than Ground and with dragon moves it shouldnt be hard anyway. Gyarados is the king of the deep!

May ask if u could use the legendaries which one is most useful? I would say Rayquaza is the best but Kyogre is really good u can solo the elite 4 with it. Groudon I think could struggle a lot because its just ground type against the Hoenn that just water. But ik nuzlocke doenst really allow legendaries but if u did a nuzlocke u can use just one, would Groudon be useful? It could be a replacement for Swampert for its ground typing.

Are Butterfree and Beautifly same good? Both known to use psychic attacks which are useful but Beautifly leans some flying moves too and stun spores. Butterfly can do Gust, I think it can learn Hurricane and it learns a lot of good psychic attacks. I always see Butterfree useful if u can keep it alive. Against poison and fighting types. Bugs also ok against fighting types And Rock types aint that good with sp attackers and confuse can really defeat rock pokemon quite easily.

Well as long as the base rule of One Pokemon per route and if it faints, it’s dead, People make up their own rules to add on One of my favorite rules that came up was to sacrifice the use of x amount of Legendaries for x amount of regular Pokemon (MandJTV had Purplecliffe do that within their colab) since Legendary Pokemon are OP during End Game
