I live in the next county over and I went to youth group with his niece when he was caught. She gave the response you always hear family members give "I never would have thought it was him." She mentioned she sat down and talked with him at Christmas 2 months prior. I can't imagine finding out one of my uncles was a serial killer.

Nope. The zodiac killer commuted his murders because he just wanted to and it seemed fun to him. He also targeted mostly couples but killed both men and women alike. They didn’t do it for sexual pleasure and his victims weren’t tortured. The zodiac was never officially caught but the subject in question fit the profile like a glove. BTK however, tortured his victims in very disturbing and awful ways, just to please his sexual desires and targeted only women. BTK didn’t fit his own profile .

“He doesn’t fit the file for a serial killer” Which is exactly why he’s dangerous
@Okkvltify4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that quote pissed me off. Of course he did not fit the file because most people still believe serial killers are some evil looking creeps of darkness, sitting on chairs made of bones and grin with an evil gaze. Surprise, surprise, the guys look totally different. Whenever some murderer is caught, everyone is like "whoa, I never expected that, he always looked so normal..."! So, what did they expect? I find it hard to believe that people still don't understand that serial killers are actual people who look and act quite normal most of the time. They are no demons from hell. They are the result of social failures.

Honestly, that part surprised me. Like did she agree to let them test it for dna? Or did they say, hey we think this girl's dad is a murderer can we see her pap smear please? Is that even legal, to take someone's dna like that without asking, especially when that person is not the killer/suspect?

She wrote a book called 'A Serial Killers Daughter' that details how she and her family struggled to recover after finding out that get father was a serial killer. It's so sad, I can't imagine how hard that would have been on them all. There is one point where BTK writes her a letter from prison saying that he 'forgives' her for having the pap smear that got him caught. The guy is such a piece of work.
