It's basically a farce. Carriers like LH and SL that "cover everything" do so at the price of EXTREMELY high rates. For example, SL Standard is an extremely common SL plan as it does not have the comp cut that UP/SP have and Standard accepts a pretty wide range of people. However, SL standard is literally the single most expensive level final expense plan in almost all states (in regards to broker products and even some captive stuff like LH), it blows americo and everyone else out of the water. The problem with the one carrier model is that one carrier can't justify taking everything, so for diabetic neuropathy, copd, and other stuff that brokers don't have an issue getting placed level, it goes graded or at a super high rate at SL/LH/AIL. There is some value in pigeonholing yourself as a captive early on, but it ultimately hurts clients and for any broker worth their salt, this stuff is super easy to replace.

I'm a new agent. I maybe over stepping but I think you skip some major things, that it takes and you only talking about the after licensing and after finding a company. Talk about the process. I think that would really help the turnover. All the information I'm receiving from you and the company I'm with is overwhelming. But not once have we celebrated getting your license and signing up.
