HOW THiS MOM OF 8 GETS THE STOCKiNGS READY FOR CHRiSTMAS MORNING 🎄😉

This year we have two extra people coming for Christmas so I had to get 10 stockings ready for kids and one for my husband.
I actually start shopping in the summer for Christmas and for stocking stuffers. So I make sure to write everything down. I have a notebook that I grab out every single Christmas and start writing all the kids names in there. What I get them for Christmas and for their stocking stuffers. I number how many stocking stuffers I’m gonna get and then also the presents.
Our kids get seven presents, there are some really nice presents and then others that are just funny gifts a little smaller but I have to write everything down because I start shopping so early that I forget when I get my kids
I normally get all the stockings ready a couple days before Christmas so I can just relax and enjoy the holiday but this year it was so busy so I put together all of the stockings Christmas Eve morning. Once I’ve done that I didn’t lay them out just to make sure that I got everything right and then put them in a box. Then that night when all the kids go to bed, me and my husband, take the boxes downstairs at them all out on the couches according to age, and then we pray for each of our kids.
The next morning, my husband, I get up and head to the barn and wash eggs to get the kids a break then we come back put some comfy clothes on grab a cuppa coffee and start unwrapping presents. We take a break halfway through clean the house up make breakfast grab more coffee and finish unwrapping presents. We all work together get the house cleaned up and then I will start prepping for Christmas dinner.

What a ridiculous comment. She's not working "soooooo" (dramatic, much?) hard to please her kids. She's continuing traditions because- and you might find this confusing- no matter how grown or old they get, they're still her kids and she can spoil them and get them as many gifts as she likes because we tend to do that with our children. They aren't her life- they are a part of it. Your negativity and attempt to bring her down grossly failed.

I agree, buying useful things is much better than just crap to fill the stocking. To each their own, but that is something I don't understand. It's just as inexpensive to buy something that someone will use than to buy a bunch of plastic crap that will get broken and thrown away after an hour.

I use a Walmart shopping bag and it is used instead of a stocking and put things in them that each member uses through out the year plus favorite candy, I CALL THEM MY GOODY BAGS

Im a disabled 57year old gma and mom. I couldnt keep up with 8 kids. I have 5 and we now only do money as the oldest is now 38yrs old and the baby is 28yrs old. This was so much fun watching you do this. I do the same for my 3 adult boys and their girlfriends. I love doing it but how do you fit everything in the stockings? It seems to be an issue every year. And I buy them new stockings every year. Nothing pricey just cute. This year I did the girls white stockings with Pom poms and the boys got the red. They were pretty big considering but still I had a hard time getting everything in nicely.
