I am 52 and been grown up to ALL of the well known artists and bands in the video. South Arcade simply got me hooked with this YT short clip where they used this mega cool guitar riff and this fucking cool car alarm chip sound. I had exactly such an illegal at that time American car alarm on my first car when I was 18. Checked the lyrics and the next day the line „you’r messing with the wrong team“ became the slogan of my recently new founded IT security team. Hopefully we will meet at a live gig when you conquer central Europe. Thank you for the music!

Same here. I listened "Stone Cold Summer" randomly on Instragam and fell in love with this band. I'm not really interested in today's music but they bring me mid 2000's pop rock vibes. Nothing but the best to them!

I am discovering great young artists that take me back to the mid 90's to mid 00's. Great stuff, but South Arcade stood out because they found a way to create their own sound while still clearly having this 00's influence in their music.

I don't have tik-tok, Instagram, or any other social media, I saw one of their shorts on KZbin. I am in my late 40's and I absolutely love this band, I have watched them endlessly and I love their music. I would love to go and see them live but I would feel out of place and anxious as the "old creepy guy" surrounded by young adults. How to get away with murder is an absolutely sublime song and isn't representative of any of the old school Brit-Pop that I grew up with in my 20's in the 1990's. It is disappointing that most bands these days only look to produce digital media that many of us don't ever really own, I would love a CD or vinyl. Stone Cold Summer and Danger are also awesome songs and I look forward to seeing this band hit the big time. ❣for South Arcade. The start of the new generation of Brit-Pop dominance.

I wouldn't worry about being out of place at their concerts man. I am 46 and I would go. Don't care what kids may think. When I toured with my band, there were people of all ages, and we played agressive nu metal... so...As long as you enjoy the music, it's all good. And think of it this way, I am sure the band would prefer to have you there rather than not. Their record label is Lab Records in the UK. I don't see that they are selling cd's or albums, too bad.

Had a YT short pop up only a few days ago, clicked instantly on first play...great energy between band members, delivering great energy sounds - certainly have a refreshing aliveness about them - must be clever as they make it look and sound simple enough - can tell they are quite genius - videos seem really when done, love the fish eye sense on one I saw, and production hits the spot - can see why they appeal, is deffo a band id love to play in! - all comes together really nicely, top artists and performers.

Thanks for your comment. I agree with you. They are doing it really well, great music, great energy, and the perfect mix of nix 90's-00's influences with their own modern twist.

Found South Arcade from their viral clips about a week ago and I'm loving them. Great 2004 nostalgia but with a modern twist. It's nice to find a band that's destined for big things.

Fast becoming a fan of South Arcade. I didn't know they were from Tik Tok
@IndieResistanceTV19 күн бұрын
They're not exactly from TikTok, it's just that between TikTok, Instagram and KZbin shorts, their music spread our really quick. But that can only happen when the content is awesome. They know how to create entertaining content that directly relates to their music, and then people gives a chance to the music. At least that's how I got into them :)

Key to South Arcade flashbang success ? they're more than a talented and energetic pop-rock band, they're smart too : see how they bathe so naturally into this social media world to reach out to their fans (and the ones soon to become fans). From 90's grungies vibes to nowadays EDM razor-sharp production, they provide something anyone can relate to. Proof : I'm 53 and I love it 😅 Y para ti, Indie resistance : muchas gracias desde Francia, caballero ! Rock on !
@IndieResistanceTV15 күн бұрын
Exactly. I've found other young bands coming up that have the 90's/00's sound but some of them are a bit too close to the originals. South Arcade found their own sound but still have that influence. I am listening to a new band from LA that I may be doing a video in the near future. Pretty sick. In any case, thanks for the support amig@
