A lot of coaches have told me when I shoot a jumper or free throw, my follow through is way to high and almost looks like I depend on my wrist when I shoot. They told me I'm almost shooting straight up (my arm finishes looking like the Statue of Liberty). Is there a drill that I can do that will help me lower my follow through mechanics?

The best way is to work on ur habits. For example, if u don't jump high enough for ur jumper, while u watch tv or KZbin, maybe shoot fake shots where u jump higher. This way you'll get used to it. When I was little I used to shoot from my neck. During the summer, when I wasn't hooping, I shot fake shots with my elbows locked higher. I'm not too good at ball but hope I help.
