That's a lot of oil. Mine takes 4.5 qts with the prefill on the filter, and she is overflowing on the lipstick. I have a 1989 300zx TT 2+2 from Japan. Is there a difference?

The TwinZ 300ZX has a very large external oil cooler which adds an additional quart!

My 1991 300ZX twin turbo specifies 4.3 quarts of oil, why did you put 5.5 quarts in yours ?

It is not 5.5qts! With stock oil pan it's 4.5!!!
