I bought your book. The reason I bought your book was that I parted the book down the middle, which I do with all the books I buy, but yours was full of wisdom. I don't remember the quote that made me buy your book but I remember one of them, which stated," those who have not realized their true self live like the blind...". I was very depressed the day I went to the book store but the more I read it, the more I found myself sharing it with others. So this must mean something...

@@hj-zu3qn So, you are saying businesses people are good people, right? That's total garbage mind. It's 21 century. He is believing in Buddhism and emphasizes 'Awareness of human beings and the universe'. He has a good car, house and money. What's wrong with that? Did he steal those things from you or other people? There are monks who meditate in secret mountains with minimal uses. And there are monks who live in the centre of crowds and help people to cope with their realities. Which monks are practically better for people? Do not judge others by your tiny uneducated mind!

The concept of stalking, what is it that triggers the stalker to stalk, a particular person, is it the Physical Appearance of the Person's Body, Speech, Voice, Life, Lifestyle, Beauty, Skin, Color, Food, Money, Wealth, Just Spying on others, Possessiveness, Control...and many more. What are they essentially looking for from the Person, whom they are stalking !? Our worldly ecosystem, will be safe and secure, if we actually start taking initiatives to embrace them collectively in a Forum.

Katherene - I take the advice of Brene Brown, she said that people have to earn the right to hear your story. This, for me, includes Grief. I am not a Dharma teacher or a therapist, but I am a meditator... I recently used my practice and a short trip to a monastery to self-heal. It helped tremendously. So, I just want to share that I made my own place to heal myself and did not expose myself to people who would shun me or simply not understand. Sending Smiles.

For the person asking such a question, I'd put thought into what makes one happy and build move modify improve their life to experience more of that. Subjectively, bringing a smile to someone's face be it a family or friend even a random stranger can make me happy. Doesn't take much effort.

If the Buddha had never strived for perfection he would never have become a Buddha. If he had said to himself, “oh well I’m imperfect,I’ve got these faults I should just accept them and not try to do better” he would have not discovered that there is actually a way to reach perfection that goes beyond all suffering and stress. The Buddhist path starts not with accepting one’s faults but with actually recognising that your current situation is not ideal but that you have the ability to change that yourself. That ability starts, with a recognition that your actions (kamma) matter and have consequences for you personally.
